If you are spending your night hunting for food and/or drink in LKF, you know that you are going to have a very difficult time choosing between the just-way-too-many choices in this very middle of the soho area. With Lily and Blooms being one of those situated in this competitive upmarket area, you bet that their food, ambience and service are something top of the notch.

You know how it is like, just another long day from work, and just another typical night that you and your co-workers are in desperate need to treat yourselves nicely just to stay sane. And tonight we decided to dine in this highly featured western restaurants in LKF.
You can pretty much tell the concept behind Lily and Bloom the moment you walked into the restaurant, the vintage fittings, heavy use of the wood elements and classic furniture pretty much yell old ‘Murica at you. And the food you asked? The food is just as definitive as their ambience.

Appetizers: Cedar River Beef Tartare
Made with just the most tender beef, local quail egg, homemade wasabi aioli and served with crispy beef jerky. The integrity of every single ingredient is simply treated in the most respectful way. With the subtle sweetness and sourness in the sauce combined with the touch of exoticness with the wasabi, you can almost taste the freshness of the beef being accentuated in the best imaginable way.

Main: Grain-fed beef rib-eye with spiced fries
Requested medium as this is a large 400g steak and it was cooked just to perfection, slightly charred, crispy surface wrapping your juicy interior with the marble cooked just right enough to melt, which, as a matter of fact, not all of the so-called steakhouses nowadays could do properly. Could not lie about my slight disappointment on the fact that grain-fed beef though…at this kind of price range you would be way happier if grass-fed beef would be used. But overall the hunk of meat will justify its price tag just because it was processed this well.

經過見到新開既豆腐花舖,諗住入去試下,見到有好多特別既味,有蘆薈,有珍珠咁,就唔甘心食原味,食左個薑汁豆腐花,仲叫左個雞肉冬菇燒賣添。豆腐花同薑汁係即時由雪櫃攞出黎既,凍到食到食唔到。豆腐花好厚好實,似食豆腐多啲,不過薑汁味好重,偏辣,但算ok

今天去咗天后食飯,諗住試下夢見屋
點知....

真系唔係太好食sad

 
我平時好鍾意食cabonara, 見呢度有幾種可以揀,所以就想試下

點知味道只有蛋味,吃不出平日cabonara creamy 的味道

可能因為蛋放得太多,意粉的汁有微微一粒粒的蛋碎,簡直就好似食緊蛋炒意粉sad

 
茶漬泡飯的因為飯未熟所以有啲硬,諗住換的時候,侍應竟然同我們講飯原來就是硬的,於是我們換成了另外一樣食物。

 
牛肉泡菜烏冬的味道普通,像日本711的烏冬,不過不失 sad

 
栗子蛋糕是當天最好食的東西了
是italian tomato 應有的水平

聽說太古的夢見屋食物還不錯,希望這裡的食物數質會改善吧!

好耐冇食泰國嘢食喇!
今日見得閒同friend 去咗九龍城食
朋友之前去食過覺得好味所以就叫埋我去食
我地嗌咗幾個菜,當中生蝦同冬陰功最好味yummy

 
冬陰功好香,味道濃郁,唔會好辣,適合啲唔係好食得辣既人!
配飯一流yummy

 
炒飯稍嫌飯較濕,食落口感不夠乾身
魚香味亦欠佳,不過上面的蛋就炒得剛剛好!

 
炒金邊粉味道唔錯,唔會炒得好油,甜度剛剛好lol

 

 
最後食翻個甜品就剛剛好!
糯米飯的硬度適中,芒果亦幾甜,唔錯smile

整體服務不錯,價錢小貴,不過同朋友聚會食好啲唔緊要喇!

因為好耐冇食過米線,所以我同朋友去左學校附近既一間米線店到食。
午市時間,人流比較多,座無虛席,外面亦有人等候位置。不過咁岩一去到就有兩人位,所以我同我朋友就唔洗點等着坐左入去 lol
因為午市比較繁忙,所以大家都係要搭枱。如果介意既,咁就唔好繁忙時間去食啦。
服務唔錯,d 侍應幾快手腳。客人一坐低,就會立即比餐牌,一舉手就立即過黎幫你落單,落單2分鐘內就有野食 shocked

 
今次叫左呢碗清湯米線,ok好食。魚腐係新鮮既,仲有湯汁鎖左係入面。生菜好足料,好似食極都唔完咁。我就覺得d蔥多過頭,可以減少一d。
另外仲叫左碟雞翼 tongue

 
烤雞翼就幾唔錯,香草既香味好激發到食慾!因為係烤既,所以就唔太油。烤得岩岩好,外皮有少少焦,有脆既感覺。:-)但肉就岩岩熟,嫩嫩地咁!
總結,米線就普通,不過雞翼就好食:-P
