I love Singaporean food and I was delighted to found this resto in Metroplaza. The restaurant has a nice vibe, so colorful and energetic. We came here on a Friday night, around 8 pm and got seated immediately (yay, I was starving!!)

Their menu, plates and the wall are all filled with colorful floral patterns.

First came the Passion fruit and pineapple green tea soda $32, very refreshing, the pineapple taste was prominent and there were pineapple pieces at the bottom.

Next up the Sambal honey chicken wings $68, this is one of their signature item for good reason. The chicken wings were glazed with a thick coat of crispy honey, and the inside was savoury and juicy. On the menu it has a "level 1 spicy" remarked but actually it wasn't spicy at all.

Nyonya curry chicken $88, a mild spicy kind of curry, the chicken pieces were tender, but not an outstanding dish.

Ordered a side of roti prata $18 to go with the curry, it has good flaky texture and wasn't too oily.

Nasi goreng with satay skewers $88, portion was big, the rice taste like regular fried rice with soya sauce, it came with 2 pork skewers. I probably will opt for something else next time.

As for the dessert, I choose the Pandan cheesecake $38. It has a spongy texture and the Pandan flavour was definitely there. Best part of the meal.

Hubby and I came here to try out this new kebab place in Soho East. I knew they have many branches but this particular branch seems to have better ambience than the ones on Lockhart Road. They have a semi-open shop front where people can sit and enjoy the sun, especially for those with dogs. Most staff here are Indian but there was a manager who speaks Chinese and he was very friendly.

We ordered the Chicken Tikka Kebab $55 and Chicken Curry with rice $60.

All lunch sets came with drinks and it was nice to have ice on the side without asking.

Chicken Curry with rice (3/5 stars) They use long grain rice which I liked. The curry wasn't spicy but was flavourful, wish they have more chicken though.

Chicken Tikka Kebab (4/5 stars) Nicely wrapped in tin foil and served in halves which made it easier to eat. You get to choose the level of spiciness or without spicy. The kebab was loaded with chicken tikka, sauce, lettuce, onion and tomatoes. Very filling. Overall a satisfying meal, will return to try their biryani.

I have heard great things about The Cupping Room and finally got to try it today after watching a basketball game in Southorn. The menu was quite limited, I went with a Regular White ($38) and a Smoked Salmon Egg Benedict ($108).
Regular White - the top foam was frothy and the coffee to milk ratio was spotted on. However I thought the milk was not hot enough. And the portion was very small at the price of $38.

Smoked salmon egg benedict - nice presentation, but flavour wise I found it a bit bland. The poached egg was perfectly runny, it was a joy cutting into the egg yolk and watching it overflowed. The salmon wasn't smoky though and taste more like plain cooked salmon. The sourdough bread underneath was ok without being too dry. There were also few pieces of orange and grapefruit on the side. It was rather pricey at $108 (drink not included).

Water was provided on each table in a cute little bottle.

兩個人食晚飯，有時出街食仲平過自己煮。今日去元氣，無意中發現有個新menu叫激安之選，入面有2款飯，2款烏冬，對於喜歡食熱食多過壽司的人係天大喜訊，仲點係，抵食！



佢每個餐都包一碗麵豉湯或汽水，我叫咗牛肉烏冬，$35來講物超所值，牛肉同菇都算多，烏冬彈牙，Like!

媽媽叫咗鹽燒鯖魚飯，店員話鯖魚係即叫即燒的所以要等10-15分鐘，不過我唔介意，最緊要好食，果然，鯖魚個皮燒到好脆，魚肉不太乾，附檸檬及沙律醬，飯係日本米，媽媽話好好味，雖然好飽都要食晒佢。

P.S. 只限星期一至五供應

已經來過鼎泰豐不知多少次，但每次都不會令我失望，小籠包是必叫的，水準依然keep得很好，皮薄多湯汁。

另外仲叫咗碟蒜蓉炒油麥菜，一碟好簡單嘅菜都可以炒得好香，油份和咸度適中。

跟住仲叫咗個炸醬拌麵，這個是第一次叫，d炸醬入面有肉碎、豆干、毛豆同一些酸菜，我唔太鍾意d酸菜, 下次都係叫返擔擔麵。

食完個麵就叫咗個蔥花蛋炒飯，又係另一個簡單又美味嘅食物，飯粒粒飽滿通透，唔會痴埋一舊或者太軟身。

最後要讚下佢個茶，有淡淡的清香茶味，應該係台灣的高山烏龍茶吧。

Summer is about to leave, but my love for icy desserts does not end here. After a wonderful dinner at Din Tai Fung, my friend and I went to Haven Street for some desserts.

The menu is very simple, their flavours rotate weekly and some are seasonal items, so you will find different flavours everytime you visit. Some flavours are quite unique.

If you cannot decide on what to get by looking at the menu, just look at the display case to get a better idea. The fruity flavours have real fruits in them.

I was intrigued by their Earl Grey Pistachio flavour. The popsicle came in a paper cup with loads of crushed pistachios at the bottom. As I work my way through my popsicle, I can dip the popsicle into the pistachios which was fun. The earl grey flavour was quite prominent, and the pistachios added a hint of saltiness to the popsicle. It was a great combination.

Price was an issue but I think it's worth a try.

Had a lunch date with a friend who works in Hopewell so we decided to come to Muji cafe. The cafe was located inside the store beside the bakery. Muji serve Japanese style light meal, here is their lunch menu:

I went with the 3 deli set $98 - For cold deli I opted for the vegetable omelets and potato salad. The vegetable omelet was a square piece of sweet egg and the mushroom sauce on top added an extra kick. Potato salad was a mix of potatoes, cucumber, bacon and Japanese mayo and it was flavourful. For the hot deli I opted for the mackerel which was baked with asparagus and tomato sauce on top. I really like the mackerel as it wasn't dry and fishy. It paired well with the ten grain rice which was included in the meal. At a price of $98 (without drink) I thought it was a bit steep but it was a nice healthy meal after all.

iSquare咁多間食肆裡面我最常去的就係上海婆婆，因為食物水準好穩定，環境算係幾好，又好彩我每次去都唔駛等太耐就有位。今日叫咗4樣：

燻蛋（5/5）賣相靚之餘仲幾好味，好香煙燻味，個蛋黃中間有幾粒黑色類似魚子的東西，食完仲想再食。

小籠包（3/5）唔差，皮薄，但唔算話特別出色，我還是喜歡鼎XX多一點

雲吞雞（3/5）用料豐富，雞肉唔“鞋”，個湯咸咗少少。

擔擔麵（4/5）辣味和花生味比例很好，個湯唔會太“傑”，好味！

My first visit to La Station has been a wonderful experience. Went during lunch time, they have lunch set of a sandwich / bagel + coffee starting at $65. I was indecisive of which sandwich to get and the friendly staff recommended the chicken avacado sandwich. I got the rose latte to pair with my sandwich. They heated up my sandwich and it was served on a wooden chopboard.

I like how the ingredients were very fresh and the chicken pieces weren't dry at all.
La Station's version of Rose Latte was awesome. It has a robust rose aroma but wasn't too overwhelming. It has a fair amount of sweetness so I thought the sugar on the side was not necessary. The rose aroma stayed in my mouth for a long time after the meal.

The cafe had a train station theme and I really like the details they put in, from the tiles to the lights to the menu board.
Stamp card! Yes I m definitely going to return for more coffee and I will try their Paul Lafayette desserts next time.

先要喺cashier點餐同俾錢，之後會有人同你講坐邊張枱。每樣食物都會跟一個湯，個湯係白蘿蔔牛肉湯，很多韓國餐廳都有，這間的味道較淡。

紫菜飯卷（$35），紫菜同飯中間包住蘿蔔、青瓜、蛋和火腿，上面有幾粒芝麻，飯卷本身已經有d甜甜哋嘅味，不用額外點醬，清清哋都幾好味。

3隻原味/3隻泡菜味蒸餃子（$48），泡菜味還可以，原味果隻可以話係無味，就算點咗豉油都係唔好味，下次唔會再叫。

韓式炒粉絲（$50），呢個整得幾好味，唔會太油，粉絲彈牙，味道偏甜但我覺得ok, 下次會再叫。
