After finding Shakey's on openrice, we ventured forth to Central. It was reletively easy to find. The elevator door opened to reveal a large, clean, brightly lit restaraunt with only two customers and 7 staff. This was 8pm on a friday and the place was empty. Although the restaraunt's main dish is Pizza, we were here to try their world famous chicken. The servers had our drinks served quickly and well poured. Now the first problem, the menu. Bright and colorful but no famous chicken. There are pictures of chicken on the wall but not in the menu. Thats because they consider their chicken an appitizer, so we are looking in the wrong place. We ordered a Ceasar Salad and of course the 5 piece appitizer chicken and a potatoe dish called MoJo Supreme. The Ceasar salad was great. Fresh crutons, crisp lettice, and an anchovy enriched dressing. Now came the Mojo. Slices of potatoe that were originally deep fried, then sat and awaited someone to order. They are then put on a dish and baked, causing the grease to saturate the potatoe and pool at the bottom of the dish. Some cheese, and sour cream finish off this dreadful tasting dish. Sure doesn't look like the picture. Now for the chicken. Five nicely large pieces of chicken with no coating, no herbs and spices, no nothing, deep fryed to a tastless golden brown and served on dish without any garnish. No taste, dry, and unfulfilling. Not like the beautiful picture that I stared at as we ate. The management was not concered over my comments and told me whats the way we cook. Shakey's has lost it's MoJo, and I won't be back. 推介美食: Try the Pizza,not the chicken

Wow, this is a restaraunt that you must try. Seating was fast and attentive, the menu superb, and the decor outstanding. Starting with the bread...mmmmm...warm and crusty with a soft centre. The two spreads, herbed cream cheese and pate were delightful. I had the pig knuckle and Elizabeth had the Schnitzel, both to die for. The Schnitzel was tender and properly breaded, the knucle, which I have had in other restaraunts around the world, was crispy skinned and moist and tender on the inside. The beers were cold and the desert, 3 mixed creme broules were heavenly. Sounds like I liked this place...well I loved it. 10 out of 10 on this my first , but not last, dining experience at Ludwigs. 推介美食: Pigs Knuckles,schnitzel

We were delighted with the very short walk from the MTR and the ease of finding this restaraunt. The escalator was unfortunatly not in service and the stairway was long after a hard day at work, but, the dining experience more than made up for it. As we reached the top of the stairs the first thing you notice is the extremely clean, well stocked fish tanks. The tanks had all the usual fish and some very colorful ones that I had never seen before. There were over 50 lobsters and a King Crab that made my mouth water. The restaraunt was very clean and bright. We were seated promptly by our smiling waitress and told of the Lobster special. Our order consisted of 3 Lobsters (of course) cooked in a light sauce, a variety of Hong Kong BBQ Meats, Sweet and Sour Pork that had an awesome sauce filled with honey that strung from the spoon each time you scooped some on to your plate, Birds Nest Soup, a Steamed Fish, and assorted vegetables. Fresh fruit for desert finished the meal off perfectly. The food was fresh and the quality was excellent. They have a small wine selection with an inexpensive red that was a great compliment to our meal. I highly recommend this restaraunt. 題外話/補充資料: The waitress said that the Lobster Special, a whole lobster for under $80. HK will last for the next 3 months.
