Lucky enough to managed to secure a seat for the hyped Baileys afternoon tea literally right before the no dine-in ban! We made the booking about 2-3 weeks ago which was quite full already by that time so you see it’s really popular ... Sorry to disappoint those who still wanna try this since this Baileys-themed afternoon tea set should have ended in late July already. Just wanna have a quick recap it was overall a great theme especially for Baileys lovers, since almost each of the desserts contained Baileys (but not being too sweet) ! Heard great things about GREEN before but felt like staffs (I believe they’re perm staffs / managers) need more training though as they were not too friendly and welcoming in general, definitely not up to standard for a hotel (like a 2-3 star hostel? Trainees were even “more polite”)

Been getting takeaway from this little place since 2016 and I still can’t resist their kimchi cup rice and japchae (vermicelli)! A place you’d wna go grab KR food but definitely not light - portion is just right and food is of course authentic! The owners are Koreans btw and very friendly (I believe they should be a family?) Apologies for the bad picture... was too hungry from work 😂 I always come back anyway, definitely recommend their cup rice apart from this jap chae! Ordered delivery for dinner a few times as well with the other small dishes which are equally nice 👍🏻

Came here a few nights ago with three others for the 3rd/4th time and Samsen is stilllll my fav Thai resto to-go! For the past month people don’t go out much and with restaurants / businesses closing because of the coronavirus, Samsen remains a popular spot where we had to queue for about 20 mins still so you can see how good their food really is I think I’ve ordered this Stir fried flat noodles with Wagyu ($138) every time... and it’s still my fav! What I love the most is they use flat noodles and not all Thai restos can serve “chewy” flat noodles it might not be shown in the picture here but there’s generous amount of Wagyu ! and for the sauce used makes the whole dish absolutely scrumptious ! I am very demanding when it comes to stir fried (Thai) noodles and this is for sure one of the best I’ve ever had If you think rice noodles are too filling then this Stir fried glass noodles (or vermicelli) with seafood ($128) is the one for you The sauce on the side is slightly sour and spicy which makes the dish soo flavourful... sooo appetising ! The noodles were cooked just right as well - one of the issues with a lot of restos offering vermicelli is that they’re always overcooked to a point that they’re so “soft” to eat and always breaking apart My boyfriend and one of the friends had two bowls of this Boat noodles with pork ($128) Meanwhile the soup base might not suit everyone’s liking but it’s still one of my favs - with the best soup anddd the soup noodles (cooked just right as well)! I’m not sure how the soup was made and what were the exact ingredients were used to be honest but I just love it... I had the one with Wagyu for the last few times I came and this one with pork did not disappoint me! Fried pork collar ($68) I’d say this can’t really fail right ... I like how they sprinkled the garlic on top to add that extra flavour and not too tangy👍🏻 And of course how can I miss their icecream ?! Had the coconut one before and we decided to have this Thai red tea one this time ($68) It’s “silky smooth” and tastes exactly like the milk tea - always a great icecream flavour ! The coconut meat was again amazing with the icecream (I’m a super fan of coconut so it adds a bonus!) Cute how they serve the icecream in the coconut shell as well! This whole thing is just 💯 Last but not least gotta give some credits to this Thai milk tea as usual ($48) Seems that it gets sweeter every time I came back, quite sugary which I hope they can tone down on the sugar a little but heyy it remains one of the best Thai milk tea I’ve ever had To conclude basically everything here is my fav so I can’t really pick my “favourite dish” ... I’d recommend ordering at least one stir fried noodles and a bowl of their soup noodles for a party of 2 or above Also their decors is another reason I had to came back - feels like I’m in Bangkok~ *Hope they can keep up the good work in their new Sheungwan branch

本身見到啲評價好似唔錯行經附近所以過嚟 先講 service - 係幾乎無 樓面主要係個女仔，經常黑面... 問佢lunch set 同a la carte waffle 嘅份量有乜分別，佢又講得唔清楚淨係話1格2格... 最後我哋三個人叫咗兩份lunch sets - Irish Coffee waffle + Earl grey waffle大概$60份，再一個Baileys Affogato，三杯嘢飲 嚟錯杯熱飲道歉又冇句就咁行咗去，仲有漏咗個Affogato 啲嘢食嚟到又唔畀餐具，我哋就問個女仔啦點知佢指住喺正佢隔離一桶嘅餐具話”自己拎吖”...💀 好啦拎完發現所有刀叉都勁污糟有晒跡咁 咁咪自己用水濕啲紙抹囉，點知有隻叉抹完張紙係啡黃色......污糟到咁！ 再講野食 - 味道超普通又硬唔明點解咁多好評？啲人未食過好食嘅waffle??? $60 得嗰一份仔waffle... 不過焙茶latte 幾好飲 總之呢間野看似小店，但其實唔係應該服務更加要有咩？仲收10% 但乜都 “自助” 野食真係一啲都唔好唔值咁多好評 希望唔好咁多人中伏除非個女仔嘅態度好啲 (下面有個人嘅經歷同我都幾似所以應該唔係一次半次嘅事)

尋晚嚟到幫best friend慶祝生日一行3個人，不過畀個無乜禮貌嘅女侍應破壞咗個驚喜...食物再好味都冇乜用啦 講番食物先 酸菜魚片 （$538） 好好食又開胃 配上薯粉一流👍🏻經典菜式 順德生煎雞(半隻 $238) 本來朋友想食鹽焗雞不過book嗰時冇預留所以就叫呢個👍🏻 好香口我反而寧願食呢個多過鹽焗雞 雙菇鮮竹豆腐煲 （$180） 普通菜式不過又係做得唔錯 仲有個蝦醬牛筋生菜煲冇影到 （$180） 有少少鹹但個牛筋幾特別 坐咗陣個女侍應就行埋你問我地食唔食甜品，我地就話唔使啦，而且我準備咗個蛋糕比朋友嘅。 呢個女侍應一直啲態度都唔係特別好㗎喇，晦晦氣氣咁 佢好似想我哋快啲走咁就係咁問甜品，問問下點知佢竟然大大聲同我地講”不過你哋都應該唔使甜品啦有個蛋糕嘛可？”。我哋三個聽完當堂打咗個突，聲都出唔到 講真正常嘅都唔會咁大聲同人講有蛋糕啦係咪呀？我當佢唔覺得係個驚喜不過呢個應該係common sense? 因為我出去食飯幾乎從來都冇侍應試過咁樣同成台客講話有個蛋糕 (另一次係喺times square greenhouse) 我當時係好想話佢有冇搞錯同講佢態度有問題... 仲有提醒佢+經理講如果日後有客係有蛋糕嘅話真係唔好特登同成台客講，當然如果啲客坐左好耐咁你問我都明，可以細細聲同帶蛋糕嗰個講。 其實食完野我都諗住行出去同啲侍應講話一陣攞得出嚟。食完啲正餐一兩分鐘之後佢已經行咗過嚟係咁問我哋食甜品，所以其實都唔係話坐左好耐喺度等。同埋我最不滿佢嘅態度，言語間好似想我地快啲走。 公平啲講名廚啲嘢食係有水準我都會想再嚟食，係希望呢個女侍應嘅態度有改進。 順帶一提有個好似男經理嘅全程好好笑容又有禮貌👍🏻

I usually just share the good meals I had and this may look pretty good but anyway... People seemed to be soo hyped up on Superdon in recent and there's always a long queue. My friend was waiting for me after work the other day so we decided to give it a shot since I also noticed there's been quite a lot of good reviews. I ordered this customised don with scallops (HKD90), ark shell ($68), prime salmon ($58) and olive flounder muscle ($48) I gotta say I was pretty disappointed...none of these were fresh! The olive flounder muscles was the WORST - it was so "fishy" to be a point where I couldn't take it The ark shell wasn't fresh at all as well, and there's only 1 small piece of it Salmon was very fat, scallops were alright Given the high rating of this restaurant I'm not sure if I was just unlucky that night or people are blinded by the hype... To be honest I'd totally visit somewhere else for better donburi 🤔

I was thrilled to be invited for food tasting at Odelice! since it's on my to-go list for a while

I came with a friend earlier in December and I still remember how I enjoyed the meal that night

We could order anything we wanted but we don't have astounding appetite so we picked a gallete, a pasta, a crepe (of coursee), a smoothie and a cappuccino for my friend~

What came first was the spaghetti Portobello and mixed mushroom spaghetti  in truffle sauce ($98)

No doubt it's a savoury dish and I just can't say no to truffle-anything

This wasn't like creamy, but I'd say the truffle sauce was really aromatic that I could taste the strong truffle and mushroom for every bite! Then came the gallete - Sainte Maure Gao Cheese, Spinach, Pine Nuts ($98)

The fluffiest gallete I've ever had lol I REALLY liked it. A cheese lover like me would totally dig this as it was so full of goat cheese, not only the 5 pieces showing in the picture but you could find the cheese inside the gallete as well, making it even more flavourful Last but not least, the Deluxe Crepe - Cinnamon apples,  caramel sauce and icecream ($68)

Caramel sauce is always my thing when it comes to crepe so I couldn't miss this

This was like having an apple pie + crepe together haha my friend and I loved it!The coconut, mango and passion fruit smoothie I had ($42)

Satisfied another crave of mine for smoothie

Anyway thanks for the invite once again Odelice! I'll pay another visit in the near future for sure

上星期趁day off到了長洲逛逛(主要都是為了美食而來) 聽說陳通記的鮮魷魚不俗便慕名去試試
鮮魷魚（小$35，大$45） 這個真的很讚！很鮮美，加上湯底滲透很是“入味“基本上都不用沾上豉油 日後每次到長洲都會來！

魚蛋河（$22） 魚蛋挺爽口的，味道也不錯 河粉有點散但整體還好 下一次試試其他食評都推介的那個沙嗲牛麵~

Recommended by my foodie bestie (who runs the foodstagram with me check out my profile )and Sugar, I've finally paid a visit here which I've been talking about this for months! Cozy place and I fell in love with the lighting of their bar
Came here with 2 girl friends for dinner. Under this scorching weather I really had to order a cocktail to cool myself down...

so each of us ordered our own and I got this Hong Kong Sling ($98) Pretty sugary but the taste was good anyway!

Started off with the 3 half drunken organic eggs ($18 for half) A little overcooked for me but it tasted just like the drunken chicken. Scrumptious for sure (Y)*v*
Tea-smoked duck ($238) No bones which was of great convenience lol and not greasy at all. A healthy choice but nothing surprising

Cold soba noodle with chicken ($88) I've been munching on cold noodles since the summer heat has invaded Hong Kong An ordinary cold soba noodle but I liked it anyway

Homemade XO scallops with organic fried rice ($158) With just a few pieces of scallops this was overpriced in my opinion The XO could be richer as well 

Glutinous rice balls with black sesame paste($60) Nothing surprising. Should have tried the deep fried rice balls! Portions were a bit too small in general, friendly staffs is a bonus though(; Guess the hype is all on how Sohofama supports farmers and using organic ingredients?

Internship has started for a week and bringing home a tired soul every night, but anyway I decided to pig out with my best friend to pamper myself for a bit 

We ordered a supreme beef set with the spicy konbu soup base($178+10% per head)(Sorry I only snapped 1 pic I was too busy eating...)
Just like other all-you-can-eat shabu shabu places, there are a variety of different hotpot ingredients as you can see here like the fishballs, vegs etc etc

The beef was sooo good!! I literally munched on 2/3 plates on my own as my friend was too full to stuff any so soon lol

The soup base was a little too spicy for me though and got my eyes tearing... will try the tomato and lobster soup base next time!

it was soo good especially the original flavor! It wasn't melting as well
It was almost better than those served in the yoghurt places
