It was our first time coming to Moti and overall it was a very nice experience. The service was excellent, very polite and friendly. Our server was able to make recommendations when we were unsure. The food was very good especially the appetizer fried ball filled with yogurt, tandoori mixed grill, and paneer masala. The price was very reasonable. We will definitely come back again.

Great food, great service, lovely view and comfortable seating for a birthday lunch. The owner, Mr. Yeung is friendly and personally made the desserts for us. We really appreciate his passion and personal service.

Seems like they were under staff to handle two large tables of 20+ people. It was a large company team dinner for us, unfortunately the few vegetarians had to wait 2 hours to finally get some food. We had to keep asking and chasing and was completely ignored as the staff seemed too busy handling and taking orders for the expensive Chinese delicacy dishes. Will go again but not for larger groups.

Came here with a couple friends for dinner. The environment is very nice and quiet, but quickly turned bad with their service. I ordered an oyster after the oyster expert explained, when it came it was not what I ordered. I told the server, without any apologies, he just said "Oh, maybe he mistaken." OK fine, I don't want to waste so I ate it. The same server just didn't seem to know what he was doing, and always coming by to collect our plates like they were in a rush but there was many free tables. Also we just want to double check on the happy hour offer as we misunderstood some terms, their manager came and acted like we tried to get free drinks. Overall for this pricey meal, I didn't expect this service. I'll not come back again and now I know why the restaurant is never full.

Very glad that HK has a proper diner with good breakfast food. The quality was pretty good, I loved the egg and hash browns. The egg was just right, smooth, not oily. And the hash brown was crunchy and not greasy. The staff was very polite as well, I'll definitely come again!

I've tried their lunch sets before, I thought it was OK...didn't WOW me but it's right where I work and no complains as I like these types of cafes...I would give it a 4/5 star.

Today I decided to get a Blueberry Muffin and Ham Sandwich.

Blueberry Muffin - $20 - very dense, probably better when heated up as I had it in room temperature, it's a bit dry. 4/5 star.

Ham Sandwich - $38 - The name was very fancy, but the sandwich was nothing I imagined. It was quite dry, no sauce inside, very little cheese, very thin slice of ham with slice of tomato and lettuce. I much prefer getting sandwich in other franchise cafes for this price. 2/5 star (2 stars instead of 1 because at least the ingredients are fresh)

Me and my friend do NOT understand how they got 100+ good ratings because the experience and food was not good. Below reasons will sum it up:

1. Booking not found - We made reservations and they couldn't find our booking. Fine...coz there was still tables available, not a big deal.

2. Lost waiter, bad wine - Not sure if he's just lost or stoned, but he seemed so confused. We asked for recommendation about ordering wine by the glass, he can't really answer and say I can order house wine. OK whatever, I ordered a house white. The wine came, it's not cold and it's not good.

3. Dumplings uncooked - We ordered these wonton-like dumplings, the skin is super thick but maybe that's just the way it is so it's OK, at least we tried something new. But we noticed some dumplings are not cooked well - the powder of uncooked dumpling wrapping is still there, that was how uncooked it was. After telling them they offered to exchange for something else for free....we decided to stay safe and ordered a cheese platter...and here comes #4...

4. Stir fry cheese platter - I have never seen a cheese platter this messy...it was cut up into small cubes, tossed with walnuts on top all over the plate. It looked messy and the cheese was cheap cheese for a 100 bucks.

5. Dried out Halibut - Tasteless and dry, even eating it with the sauce was still bad. The sauce didn't taste good at all either.

Needless to say, we did not finish all our food, we were not completely full...we left and went to Tsui Wah for more food. NOT coming back and do NOT recommend, even if they offer a group buying deal, save your quota for something better!

With about 40 minutes for lunch and such cold weather today, I decided to come here to order a Pork Ball Congee take-out. Little did I know, they save all take-out orders for last. The few of us there waited 20 minutes. The service was bad, they didn't care that we had to wait.

On the congee itself, it's $35 bucks for the pork ball congee. The taste is alright, but very watery. No drinks included, the portion was small. I can have that in the famous congee shops for the same price, bigger portion, cleaner environment, faster and more polite service.

I would not come here anymore and I would not recommend to anyone. Even w/out the waiting, the price is too high for this quality and environment.

Went there for a quick dinner with friend. My friend highly recommended this place as the fish congee is her favorite and their specialty. I ordered the Pork ball & liver congee, shared a Choi Sum veggie, and my friend ordered the fish congee.

Although mine wasn't the specialty, but I liked it a lot. Not many places congee is this thick, it's thick, smooth, and filling. Can be a little bit more salty or have more taste, but I still find it quite nice. The veggie is good, cooked just right. My friend seemed to like her fish congee a lot, so I take it that's very good as well.

Overall, a very nice congee place, and they have good and fast service. I would definitely go again and recommend friends.

Went with 5 other friends last nite for Yakiniku dinner, and we sat on the 3rd floor.

The environment - very nice, and we got a TV and get to watch a movie while we eat. BUT the DVD was on shuffle mode I guess keep skipping to random scenes which is a bit weird. Another table on this floor was super loud, not the restaurant fault but perhaps can tell people like them to tone it down.

The service - good, they are very fast. They occasionally would miss a drink but probably because they were very busy. Usually after we let the waiter know, he would bring it right away so it's OK. They offered to help us grill, so this waitress just helped us grill everything, that was VERY nice service!

The food - excellent. I don't eat beef so I can't comment, but my friends seem to like it a lot. My favorite dishes were the Butter Chicken Thigh, Sweet Potato with Cheese, Chicken Soft Bone.
Butter Chicken Thigh was grilled to perfection w/ the skin almost disappeared, then dipped into melted butter.
Sweet Potato with Cheese was wrapped into an alluminum foil and grill. When done, the waitress would open up, stir it, then give us each a big spoon full. It's very cheesy with a bit of sweet potato, very yummy!
Chicken Soft Bone not what I expected, I thought it's just grilled soft bone maybe we some sauce marinate. But to my surprise it's marinated in garlic, so when you eat it, you can taste the bits of garlic flavor in the soft bone.

Other food we ordered that's also quite nice: Soba Noodle with Sesame Sauce and Pork Belly.
