The first thing that struck me when I stepped in was the bad manners of the waitress.
She asked whether I had a reservation and I said no and next thing I knew I was outside waiting for a seat.
She literally pushed me out of the door and told me to wait outside.

That is not what I would expect from restaurant.
Later when we finally got a seat, they have placed us underneath the decorative giraffe. It slightly disturbing, having the giraffe in your face with you are eating. But then I did not feel I had power to request for another seat. So much for the customer is always right.

The same waitress that pushed me out of the door asked us for the requests for which dishes. To what I have seen, she was not very familiar with the menu and had Bad manners. (The capital letter was not an accident.)
That was not a nice start to the meal.
The food came relatively quick but was cold
Then I witnessed the same waitress drop a stack of menus on another customer's table and food.


The green curry that I have was suprisingly tasty and hot
but sadly that was the only thing that was acceptable in this meal

Overall I was extremely disappointed with the service and the food, despite for the attractive renovation.
I sincerely hope that they can improve on their cooking and their service standards.

This was my second time visting this place and strangely enough, I felt more amused.
Many might say that eating in the 'toilet' is not appetising, but to me it just gets better evertime xD.

The food was better than before, (maybe because there was not as much people?) but the service is still the same, they just 'can't' see you As frustrating as they can't see you, that meanst that you can stay and chat for longer . Ice cream was good, makes me laugh and say my joke everytime i eat it (have u ever tried eating poop?)

I guess if you want to try it, you can. Just don't expect a restaraunt to be perfect in everything. In other words, they can't have everything. I wouldn't say the price is to their advantage

South Horizons don't have that much of a range and i thinkg that having a hong kong style tea restaurant/house is brilliant. The food is average nothing special but i do love the fact there is something different coming through Maxims . There was alot of people when it first opened and i remember witnessing a lot of people queing up to get in. It scared me . Anyhow, the waiters and waitress' are friendly but they get slightly irritated when you tell them that the dish went to the wrong table

the wonton noodles was so fresh and delicious that i wanted another bowl . The beef brisket curry with rice (that could also be ordered with roti, which is amazing ) is tender and very tasty but i feel that it is getting worse .
