我於香港長大, 大學時到英國留學。原本應該好好讀書, 卻經常在學期內不停周遊列國尋找歐洲當地美食, 最愛是法國菜, 西班牙菜及意大利菜。以前中文只有小學程度, 幸好多年來努力鑽研八卦雜誌, 現在還可以用有限的中文寫一小部份食評, 並希望與各位食家分享。
I was born in Sydney, raised in Hong Kong and spent 3 years studying at a university in the UK. With only 12 hours of lectures and classes per week at university, I had a huge amount of time to travel around Europe, and I frequently flew to France, Spain and Italy in search of my favourite Ladurée macarons, seafood paella and Parmigiano-Reggiano.
I moved back to Hong Kong after graduation, but in 2012 my law firm sent me on a 6-month secondment to London, during which I started this blog, Steph's 852 (i.e. Hong Kong) Diary, to keep my family and friends back in Hong Kong updated with my foodie excursions. I continued writing after my secondment ended, and now my blog's name finally makes more sense as most of my reviews are Hong Kong-based.
