We have heard much of Bo-lo'gne's famous Danish bread so my wife and I decided to pay this shop a visit on our Anniversary, the food and service was beyond our expectation.

Normally, I do not have a habit of writing reports, however, I believe the staff there deserves a proper recognition.
I made a booking in 3 days in advance, and was a proper decision to do so. As we arrived the Resturant at 7:30, the Resturant was already fully occupied. We reserved a window seat where we could have a nice view of the Victoria harbor night scene, the lights were dimmed and provided an excellent atmosphere for our anniversary.

We were greeted and seated down politely by the staff and the waitress was introduced the drinks menu and dinner menu. We decided to start off out meal with 2 glasses of red wine. They have a nice selection of red wine there, from French to Australian, we went for the French wine.
For dinner, I ordered a Lamb chops with Salmon steak, and my wife ordered a black truffle pasta with jumbo scallops. The meal started off with a slice of Bo-lo'gne toast and a bowl of soup, the soup of the day was Cream of mushroom soup.
Let's start with the toast - Orgasmic ! I have never had a piece of bread so delicious before. It's softness, layers and smell beats every other bread on the market. The cream of mushroom soup was no ordinary Cambells style, the soup was clearly blended with fresh wild mushrooms, made to perfection.
The quality of the main course was outstanding, the Lamb chops was seasoned well and the salmon steak made was made to perfection. I order some mixed vegetables for the side dish.
My wife enjoyed the black truffle pasta very much, they had a generous serving of scallops and the whole portion of the meal was just right for a lady.

We also ordered a Caesar salad with smoked salmon, it would have been much much better if they used grated cheese over the salad instead of cheese powder, but the smoked salmon was very nice and the salad was seasoned properly.
My meal also comes with a desert, vanilla creme brûlée pudding. Something so simple but with so much delicacy. The pudding is made with fresh vanilla pods as you could see the little vanilla black dots inside.
Overall, it was a very good dining experience. Definitely worth a re-visit.
Thank you Bo-Lo'gne and it's wonderful staff.
