on my company's christmas party I won a book of starbucks coupons ($20x10pcs + one free cup coupon), I do not have the habit to drink coffee, sometimes in the morning cannot decide what breakfast to eat, on that day I saw the coupon in my bag and decide to give it a try. I asked the staff what I should buy since I can't drink too strong coffe, she recommand to try the "toffee nut latte", ok then I will take that, and I paid $6 more change to Venti (pay $6 more to have double sized of course I will pay it), its very nice indeed, I was told this is the most popular drink in Christmas promotion.

It's drawing near Christmas again, and Starbucks has started their Xmas cake series, this year's selection seems better than last year.
The series last year was rather heavy, consisting of cheesecakes, cream cakes etc.

This year, I was attracted to the Cranberry chocolate cake and the white chocolate coconut, cranberry danish, cranberry scone with icing.

For my first xmas cake at SB's I decided to try the cranberry chocolate cake, because it is a popular pick and usually sold out.

Cranberry chocolate cake:
The chocolate cake consists of a chocolate cake base with fluffy white cream on top, decorated with cranberry pieces and a raspberry on top.
The chocolate cake contains candied orange peel, but you can't really taste it.

Third cake I have tried in their Christmas selection, I am saving the ones that I think will taste the best till last.

This time had the hazelnut cheesecake, finely grounded hazelnuts amongst the smooth cheesecake paste, almost like grounded wheat.
There was slight hints of hazelnut in the taste, but also tasted of almond essense which was a bit weird.

Anyway looking forward to try the rest next time!
