We were 7 ppl. The service was terrible as few servers could understand English and they were generally uncoordinated - 3 different ppl tool our order. Later we waited as much as 15 mins for a coke, that too after reminding then 3-4 times.

Food, was terrible! We felt very heavy after having a few appetizers itself and had no capacity to order main course.

Overall, will not go to this place again.

Had lunch here with a few friends after visiting the Gold Coast beach one afternoon. When I was younger (probably 10+ years ago!), I use to come here all the time with my family. Im not sure whether the food was always this bad, or it became worse, or it was just an unlucky day where the chef took a day off.

One of my friend had a small dog with her and asked the staff who greeted us whether we were allowed to bring it in or even have it sit with us on the tables outside. She immediately said no - understandable, it is probably company policy. So we asked nicely again but it was still a no and she went off to do something else. So my friend gave the dog to someone else to take care of and the rest of us took a seat at the table inside. When the member of staff came back, she looked greatly disturbed and annoyed. Rudely and disapprovingly she gave us a glare and asked us where the dog was - as if we sneaked it in and hid it under the table. We told her it's not here and she walked away angrily to begin setting our table. Not a very warm welcome I suppose? However, the male waiter who was in charged of our table was nice and polite when he took our orders and served us. The Phad Thai came first, which was surprising as we ordered two salads as our appetizer. It made it obvious (or at least gave me the impression) that the dish was precooked and they simply had to spoon it out of a big portion to serve us. It was one of the worst Phad Thai's I've ever tasted! Even the Thai restaurants in Switzerland can make it better than this! It was completely tasteless and not warm enough. There was no lime, peanuts or other accompaniments which you'd expect. Never again...

The 通菜 was average, tasted okay but have had better. I guess you can't really go wrong with this dish. The salads finally arrive and I was so disappointed! In my opinion, you can really tell whether a Thai restaurant is authentic or not through tasting their Som Tam (Green Papaya Salad). This was definitely not good. The papaya was again, tasteless - not sour enough not spicy enough. The Pomelo Salad tasted strange as well.

The 豬頸肉 was probably one of their better dishes. I liked the sauce that come with it, however I'm not sure whether it's authentic or not, as I am not an expert in Thai food! I liked the texture of the meat - it was fat enough and thus tender. Good with the sauce.

The Garlic Naan and Green Curry Chicken were satisfactory. I liked the naan's texture and so did my friends so we ordered a second serving to finish the curry off with. Finally, the Chicken Noodle with Soup was also okay, nothing special, but at least the texture of the noodle wasn't too soft.

Most of us ordered a nice and cooling Mango Ice Drink after a hot day at the beach. It was decent, very refreshing but I've again, had better Mango drinks with a more concentrated and fresh mango flavour than this.

The restaurant itself is quite nice I guess, with a view of the yachts outside. The table we were sitting on was slightly too small to fit everyone but the bigger tables were too big. The service was decent (in terms of the man that served our table but not the woman, who I think was actually higher ranked than the man !)

Overall, not a very good lunch with poor attitude from a female member of staff. The food was disappointing compared to what I remember and my friends and I were not very happy with this experience! I think the lunch got better towards the end - it was really the horrible welcome and crappy dishes in the beginning which spoilt the meal.

Likes: Nothing, compared to things I can find in other Thai restaurants.

Wen there on september 18, the food are delicious as we only order seafood, which are nice and fresh. The shrimp cost around 90 per head and is reasonable. Besides we order fish and squid and the bill is $520. We choose to sit outside and is relaxing. Anyway, would definetly go there again in the coming future.
