after reading through the recent food reviews,
i'm really doubtful if the standarad has deteriorated with the award

i was there for a show near by
so sister and I had to rush for a quick dinner
we just ordered some bread and curry chicken
to be honest, i think the speed of serving food was not fast enough
i had to wait for a bowel of rice for so long...

i chose white curry, not too spicy
i think it's good for HK ppl's taste
the bread was warm on table
i would say overall the food's quite good
and with more time given
i would try more variety of dishes

My colleagues and I were in the mood for curry, so we decided to give this place a try because it was "Michelin Recommended". We arrived at 12:50pm, and were lucky to get a seat upstairs, in what appeared to be an extremely small VIP area... or an open closet

The lunch sets seemed quite reasonable at $42. We ordered the following:

* Lamb Ribs Currier (Don't know what "Currier" means.. LOL)
* Chicken Curry
* Baby Beef Flank Currier
* Eggplant KormaThe set included sweet corn soup which was OK... except it was a bit too peppery. About 5 mins later the lamb and beef curry came, but we had to wait another couple of minutes before we got any rice and our naan bread. We then waited a few more minutes for the eggplant curry. My chicken curry didn't come until my colleagues had mostly finished their meals

The naan bread that we ordered wasn't crispy at all Very doughy and generally tasteless. What a disappointment! The curry itself was decent, but there wasn't much meat in each of the curries. My chicken curry had one small potato in it, and it was cold! I also had three small pieces of chicken which tasted quite good. My colleague's eggplant curry was deemed "sweet"... and the lamb and beef curries where generally OK in taste.

Overall, the food was OK, but the dining experience was terrible. Being a "Michelin Recommended" restaurant I expected a lot more. The "Michelin" sticker on the outside of the restaurant must be "Made in China" or the Michelin reviewer must have been bribed. In the future I won't be coming back

Truely speaking, the dishes are not special or delicious at all. Very disappointed towards this restaurant.

Besides, the boss didn't act in good faith... He tried to persuade us to choose expensive set dinner. When we chose some others he simply said that they were out of order. During the meal when he asked our comments, my friend HONESTLY said that the dishes are too small (it is true, as a set dinner with $80 with only 3 very small pieces of lamb... can only feed a child but not an adult), he just said, "You can order more law..." If he always expects good comments I suggest him not to ask the customers law, as the food really taste not good at all. Such services and attitudes cause us swear never go there again...

Actually we are not unable to afford an expensive meal, as I am working at Causeway Bay, and having lunch at Time Square can already cause $100 - $180/head. Therefore a dinner costs $80/head is for sure affordable to each of us. However, a meal costs $80/head but return with low quality food and $0 services are not worthy to consume again.

I found a live cockcoarch in a naan bread walking around. After I compliant to the manger, he not even said sorry. And just take the whole dish away. When I ask for compensation, there were some big guys to come up, said something "This is my place, Don't play anymore!!!! and get away. Otherwise **xyz>,))(*^%$#@@@^%" My friend & I really scare. So I advice anyone who want to go there, pls think not even twice!
