Seafood Paradise Jul 25, 2011
7 of us, happy friends dinner gathering. Arranged by a friend whom knew the owner very well, making sure all seafood served is at highest quality.
This is the second time I visited Lei Yun Mun, first time was a year ago, another friends gathering. Last time I took taxi from home, but this time, I tried the ferry from Sai Wan Ho to Lei Yun Mun. Be frank, once is enough, it smelled badly, maybe because of the rain...anyway...If the pier can be renovated with new boats, it will be much better to attract passengers.

Abalone-I don't eat abalone because it looks weird to me, and I don't like the texture even those served at high-end abalone/shark fin Chinese restaurants. However, my friend asked the chef seriously cook it, spending 2 days in preparation, for sure, I wouldn't say no to it. All my friends love it, and I ate it all.
Peeing Shrimp 攋尿蝦-Excellent I liked it very much and the best thing was, for sure, my friend helped in peeling off
辣酒煮花螺 (Sea Whelks)-too good to describe, all of us couldn't keep our attention away from it.
黄皮老虎斑-2 styles, it's real sea fish and the texture is different from what we usually have from farm-raised ones, very delicious
"Stomach" of the fish, fried with bell peper, etc. I've never tried something like this before, it tasted very good and interesting.
花蟹蒸蛋, one of us don't eat 黄油蟹, so it's specially arranged for her. Guess what, the steam egg was finally shared by all of us because it's so good.
Time to have our star of the night, 黄油蟹, it's BIG. The shells are as big as my palm. Although the weather was not hot enough, rainy days, so the crab oil was not yet ready as the best, we were all satisfied.
We also had seafood soup and vegetables with shrimp sauce
Fruit plate, papaya and mango. Learned one interesting way to eat papaya, adding lemon juicecan make it so refreshing, especially after a big meal

4. 芝士龍蝦伊麵..... 芝士唔夠味.... 龍蝦唔夠肉
5. 瓜子斑..... 好滑
6. 蒜蓉紛絲蒸貴妃蚌...... 淡而無味
7. 楊州炒飯 & 8. 蒜蓉生菜...... 不過不失
9. 炸生蠔...... 粉太厚.... 雖然我咁中意食生蠔既人都覺得呢味唔好食
送左一個芥菜滾魚湯 及木瓜做甜品，我地飲左一jar橙汁 ($120) & 一杯西瓜汁($30)

我最記得這間食店, 就是一隻生蠔賣250元就知是什麼東西, 不過那天我請的客人有十人左右, 顧著應酬而沒有問價, 唉...都怪自己了. 那天我們結帳共12500元, 一肚氣, 有客在又不方便爭論價錢. 算....就是一次教訓
