This is the the third time that I come to Pai Po Complex .
The previous times were either too late or the seats were fully occupied with people
Finally , I have the chance to taste it .
However , I really don't recommand ppl to come to Tai Po , just for eating the noodles.
Honestly speaking , it just don't worthy .

There are sufficient amount of shrimp roes & five pieces of small 雲吞 .
The taste of 雲吞 & noodle are just very common , nothing exceptional.
The flavor of the soup was rather pale & 長發 has done better in this respect .
PS. 熱奶茶是隔離文興的 , 平記沒有賣奶茶的

If one knows about the book "somichelin" then in Hong Kong, I have this one on the list.

Its 雲吞蝦子撈麵 was awesome rated 9/10, the dumplings are thin-skined with generous well-sauteed portion, the noodles cooked to its right chewiness, the soup was lightly but rightly flavoured without MSG, though lard is used, it simply helps enhance the already-good flavour of the dish, the 蝦子 fried with the aroma that kills one's nose, captures your soul and mind.

Please pay special attension to its spicy sauced and pepper powder served on table, they are of exceptionally high quality, the lady told they are brough back from UK.

With a such price, again it's a divine, do go there non busy hours before 16:00 (coz they closed) as the crowds sometimes do degrade its quality a bit

After working in Tai Po for over 8 years...I finally got a taste of the famous wonton.

It is very original!! Especially the taste...just the right proportion of prawns and pork. Not to mention the size is bite size ....not like the very modern kind of wonton...as big as a ping pong ...

Worth a try....under the new environment, is more clean and pleasant. But definitly have to improve on the co-ordination on the money collection from customers....we got asked a few times if we have paid for our order...Once we were asked if we had paid the boss...how would I know who is the boss!!!

Opposite there is a Chinese Dim Sum shop...the spare rib rice is delicious...and the small size...will be a good suggestion for guys...a bowl of rice and a bowl of wonton noodles.

Try Shrimp Egg Noodle. Chewy!!
They just open until 2:00pm please note!!
