Good friends gathering in Yuen-long a day after family-gathering in another V Cuisine when we cancelled the plan to Sai-kung during the weather
it's a little bit different between the old one in East-TST: more noisy
lot customers in a smaller areas comparatively; thus the kitchen's good smell spread around the area while I found the stylish tea-pot come to the table
at the same time
friends had been visit few time since their grand-opening (one years ago?!) one of us highly recommended with lot dim-sum below,
the highlight is fried "rice-noodle" with fish-fillet:
taste nice when it's most attractive point is crispy but not that oily as a whole
cha-siu bun in "chao" wine style: taste yummy with onion base in the mini-pot though it cover with the lid without the smell of wine at all,
interesting gimmick only !
fried carrot-cake is taste good with few white carrot in golden brown style, while the chicken-feet is a little bit heavy in sauce-base
steam egg-white with crab-meat dumpling ( 賽螃蟹餃)
really thin skin with light-ingredient seems healthy too!
rice-roll is so smooth & delightful
2 of us are dessert-lover, so we order the sweet-soup though mango-pudding already " out of service"
another gimmick when the dessert is in a tea-pot service style
the almond-soup & walnut-soup both a little bit too sweet compare with the last time as friend tried
but the taste not bad & rich at all;
mango in glutinous rice is a little bit hard as friend comment & it's not my favour type (dislike coconut ), we finished our late lunch from 2:00 to 4:30 !
~ service is not bad, but the waiters are quite busy, water refill can be more better as we need to ask each time !
