Been trying to find the best sweet bean curd in town. Tried 4 so far. This is my favorite. Where?

Sweet bean curd (warm) $7
Had plans to eat a nice, hot sweet bean curd but Mrs. owner said they'd run out. They'd put the stock in the fridge already. But they did it only a short while ago so she asked if I'd mind. Hell no. At $7 a bowl anything goes. She was extremely nice, and so was Mr. owner, who prepared the take-away for me - poured in a bit of ginger syrup, and gave me a small packet of cane sugar. So thoughtful - they didn't add the cane sugar into the bowl directly because who knows I might not like cane sugar. Then again I might not like ginger syrup either but I suppose that's something they insist on, to give the bean curd the right flavour. Why do I think it is good? Because it was silky. Had a mild beany flavour (already the beaniest among those I've tried). Pleasantly sweet - ginger syrup not overpowering. And most importantly - no grainy residue in mouth. Hm, the word 'grainy' might not be the most accurate description...what I mean is, the feeling in the mouth you get after eating cooked (kidney or borlotti) beans. Or hummus. Conclusion: So. If you're looking for a healthy dessert after a meal, consider sweet bean curd at Daily Fresh Soybean Milk. Look no further! There's a Chinese sweet soup speciality shop a block away (along the escalator) but I've tried that, and will advise against it.
