    Iced Matcha Latte

This was better than I expected! The taste of green tea was adequate (though could be stronger!), and it was not overly sweet. It wasn’t that smooth and milky, but I guess this was because I opted for skimmed milk? I am definitely interested in trying other drinks here.

Previously tried their tea series which was slightly disappointing, this time I tried the matcha latte.

It was slightly better, but not as creamy and full as the reviews said.

Apart from that, its good to see that they have more drinks and now offer snacks too.

    New snacks:
mini rose tea cake, valhrona snowball, honey madeleines and more!

Not 濃厚 at all  Just OK Mar 19, 2011

I saw this on Erica Yuen's blog, so decided to ask my friend to go together to try out as the selling point is using "real" milk and very rich.

I ordered Ice Tea w/Hazelnut Syrup, and my friend ordered Green Tea Latte.

My ice tea....hmm...sad quite disappointed...its not rich at all...but tapioca is not bad...

I tried my friend's green tea latte...green tea taste was not rich at all too...

Good store concept...but taste wise....not good

Hazelnut Teapresso Just OK Feb 23, 2011

I was truly excited with this new Tea joint being a Tea lover, there are so many choices for TEA.

The name of the shop Teapresso, sends images to my mind of the tea looking like enticing cappuccino with a foamy top.

The packing was well designed with thought with a Japanese accent and reminds me of origami and geometric triangle lattices, matrixes and kaleidoscope patterns.

The tea was served hot or cold with the following flavours: maple, caramel, hazelnut.

There were many bottles of different syrups, and the tea was sweetened by the flavour you choose.
The one I chose was Hazelnut.

I was slightly dissappointed because it was just Hong Kong style tea with added syrup flavouring and not made expresso style with a foaming top.

Perhaps if I should have got the green tea latte instead.

    Date Dined: Saturday 15th jan 2011 5.30pm

Ordered: 綠茶牛奶 Green tea Latte (Large) 28 hk dollars

    Ruined

Taste: ( I think it was called Green tea Latte in english) Or it could be calld green tea milk. I could not decide if i wanted it hot or cold. But in a windy cold weather i decided to order a hot Green tea Latte. It was really hot and had tow ait for it to cool down before I tasted it. it isnt very strong green tea flavour but really strong in milk flavour. but i liked it that way. it was easy to drink and wanted to drink more and more.
The lady kindly opened up the lid for me to take picture of the green tea latte. But she meesed up the heart on there instead. quite disappointing. you could choose skimmed milk, or full milk for your own preference. i did not choose as I wanted to taste the original flavour.

Conclusion: For 28 dollars i would probably go have starbucks instead. but unfortunatly starbucks do not do green tea latte. I bought a coupon for 15 hk dollars for 30 hk dollars to use at kami. 15 hk dollars is a bargain. But not for 28 hk dollars. i would come here again and try other stuff. The location is right inside Gi Mall. So dont miss it by going right pass the mall. it is opened by same person who opened Crumbs
