I made a booking one week earlier for the Christmas celebration, so we need not wait. In fact, It is not a very crowded restaurant ..maybe it is not really famous ...
(Actually, from the standpoint of a customer, I do not want it to be famous haha lol because the quality of the food and service usually cannot be maintained after the popularity increased)

The service was okay but not satisfactory as a staff looked so impatient when we were making orders. The most important thing was that the staff did not tell me there was a special Christmas menu during the Christmas holiday.

Therefore, the price was much more expensive than those suggested in other posts in Openrice.

The cheese hotpot was so expensive on that day. One set for cheese hotpot cost $490 something. And we were requested to order at least 2 sets on that day. (One cheese pot only, but the ingredients were increased)

Although it was a bit expensive, the taste was so excellent...........To my point of view, the cheese pot was much better than the one ordered at Spaghetti House....tonguesmile The taste of the cheese pot ordered at Spaghetti House was so light....
But the cheese flavour ordered here at Bigpack was so stronglol AAAAWEEESOMEEEE~~!!

    1.) Cheese Hotpot $900

    2.) Sausagessss <3<3<3 around $200
so yummmyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!! i love sausagessssss~~ I could try different kinds of sausages which were so delicious...........much better than those I tried at other German restaurants
    GOOD ENVIRONMENT

    3.) Pork Knuckle around $200

I did not take photo, but my suggestion is not to try the pork knuckle here because it was so fatty and oily.. sad

I think the pork knuckle in other German restaurants can be much better. mad I need to find some better ones with outstanding pork knuckle

I was here on the night of Germany Vs Serbia. My boyfriend booked this place for four of us.
It is such a cozy place, warm ambience, spacious seating and with pretty much privacy. There are plenty of plasma /screens everywhere so that every corner can see the match clearly. However their biggest weakness is their food!!!! We are totally disappointed by the food quality.

    We ordered:
    1. Fish and chips – First of all it seems there is a wrong choice of fish fillets. They are not fresh and chunky at all. Both fish and chips are not crispy at all, not to say sizzling hot!! It just tasted so bad

    2. Deep fried squid – Similar to the fish and chips, the squid pieces were so miserably small, looks like they shrinked. There was too much “frying powder” on each piece, I could only taste the flour…

    3. German pork knuckle – This is the most disappointing dish. The whole thing was so dry, not a bit juicy or chewy. It took us so much effort to cut the meat open because it was just too hard!!! The Sauerkraut (sour cabbage) was so bad, overcooked and watery.

    4. Pizza and pasta – I forgot the exact ingredient but they were the one with the most ‘normal’ standard that at least we can put into our mouth!

The menu was more of fusion or European style rather than French as they claimed. Probably the menu was specially created for World cup period.

I want to say, they totally wasted this prominent location in Mongkok. Over the several years since their opening, there has not been any improvement! I wish the management there can really do something to improve the food quality, which may turn the place into a real hot spot for dining and live sports!!
