Crab BUffet- Money valued Jul 30, 2012
Generally speaking it is money valued.
Each one can get a crab. There are many options. We tried Spicy one and gingery one.
Spicy one is much better. Meat is tender. You can choose your own level of spicy.
Othere Dishes is all you can eat but there will be chanec of sold out like out like the chicken was sold out at 21:00

Highly recommend !
It is my first time to this restaurant. With a Chinese family background but brought up in the USA, I came visiting Hong Kong every year and this time noticed Hee Kee Crab General. I have known Hee Kee Restaurants for a long time as they are very well known in Hong Kong Wanchai / Causewaybay area but I happen to be in a new mall, 'I-Square' this visit and noticed their 'Crab General' restaurant.
I dropped by with friends and ordered a number of dishes and was extremely impressed with the food. The cooking I would rate AAA+, things came out very fresh and hot and we also ordered one of their signature dish 'Spicy Fried Crab' which was so tasty and smell super nice.
In fact after our meal, we were extremely satisfied and find the restaurant one of the few that is in Hong Kong that really does good cooking.
We also find their spicy garlic on the crab extremely tasty and so we had that takeaway back home too for our rice and noodles.
I highly recommend to go to Hee Kee especially Crab General if good food is what you are after.
Happy Eating everyone !!

Pretty bad stuff Dec 18, 2010
I have written a review on this restaurant few weeks ago but for some reason it's not published...
We ordered a few dishes and overall the experience was bad:
1. Steamed scallops - the dish was named "giant" scallops and it's sold at HKD42 for one giant scallop ... the scallops were not giant... they were actually very small; worst of all the dish was cold when it's served.
2. Stir fired clams with some XO looking source - ok
3. Stir fired noodles with crab favoured oil - oily and certainly no crab favoured at all.. any stir fired noodles at any local congee stores may be better.
4 . veggie - ok, can't recall the name of the dish
5. deep fired squid - ok
overall, the food was bad... utterly disappointed... no wonder there was no line on a Sat night.
