huffy It's my second time for me to have dinner with my friends at Hipot. The main difference was the Hipot now changed to hot pot buffet. Actually, the experience was the same (EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED). My hot pot time started at 8:15 pm and I made an order for 6 types of food (seafood, lamb and beef) each time. Eventually, I only get 3 plates of beef and 2 plates of lamb after I had ordered 5 times for the same types and quantity of food in two hours...

We used to be frequent diners at Hipot Causeway Bay at the tea and night time, but I guess we would no longer be. On 20th Jan, two of us intended to go there for a Tea time hotpot buffet. Yet we experienced the worst of the service and management in town. While we were refused to dine at the far end, nor on one of the 4-8person's tables at the hall, you may notice Hipot Causeway Bay has an ample capacity at the time (Check out all the attached pictures). One of ...

Excellent Value for Money Hot Pot with great ambience. No waiting on Saturday before 7pm. Restaurant was very clean and staff was friendly. English menu was available upon request. Dinner for 2 came to 185HKD 1 Pot (Sichuan hot & spicy broth) - very good for colds (recommend to take out chilis and add in to taste throughout the boil) 3 vegetables (baby white cabbage, green pea sprouts, rape-oil) Sliced Pork Belly (fatty) Local chunk sliced beef ...

I wouldn't know about this place if not for openrice. I like this restaurant mainly because it's really DIY and you have great control over what you can have and the price you want to pay. Eveything is on an add-on basis. Unlike those "all you can eat" places that would end up having you overeat and set to a certain price, you could just choose however much you want here for great value.chopstick Reading the reviews before their lunch deal seems to be great. We had dinner here and we a...

We went to HIPOT in a group of 4. The restaurant was nicely decorated, modern and surprising not full in a Sunday night ! Firstly impressed with its well-thought design of sealing the stove under the dining table with the induction top same level as the table. We sat in a table of 8 and there were 8 stoves !! The children were happy to eat with their own personal hotpot. Each pot cost only $19 or $23 and came with half lobster (Boston type). There were many hotpo...

Hotpot is not really on my usual food rounds unless their soup is good or the food is good such as the strong herb loaded soups at Little fat sheep, and the thousand layer tofu. Saw the thousand layer tofu pictures, and various interesting things such as grounded beef with fried dough stick, and fish maw so decided to give it a try. When I got there, it was fairly quiet, and the people there were nice and quiet too. Got two different hotpot flavours, pork bone and sweetcorn, and satay...
