My friend and I booked a table for 8 at 7.15pm on a Friday night. We arrived there at 7.20-7.25pm and the table was already taken by other people. No one ever informed us that the table would not be hold for even 5-10 mins during the booking. Even worse, no phone call was given to us before they tried to re-allocate the table to others.
The worst part of it is the managers there asked us to wait till 8.30pm. While we decided to wait but looked for other forms of compensation like discount or free dishes for their improper arrangements, the manager SHOUTED loudly at the reception right in front of other customers and BLAMED us for being LATE while he ignored the fact that their practice was not a normal practice at any restaurants in HK. Even worse, he said in a provacative manner that if we were not happy, we could complain him.
I'm not sure how good or bargaining their food is. However, if you want to be sure that you can SUCCESSFULLY "BOOKED" a table for your friends' gathering, this is definitely not the kind of restaurant that you are looking for.
