Merry Xmas @ Starbucks!!!!!!!Bravooooo, TRIO!!!!!!!!!!!! After having hot pot @ CWB, we gotta find a place fool around! Not to mention Times Square for countdown......we decided to hide in somewhere else, which is STARBUCKS!!!!! Well, two of my fds ordered mocha frappe and I, obviously picked my always favourite - GT latte (H)~~~ Great as usual, good for winter as for warming my chilly yet icy-cold hands!!!!! Definately will try again and again and againnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!

The new drink at Starbucks sounds interesting, it is hot apple juice rather than coffee, tea or milk as a base. I wasnt quite sure what to expect, but the taste of cooked apples turn very sour. From the product shot, I really liked the golden clear liquid topped with cream, however when I got mine, it was in a paper cup, and its best features couldnt be seen by others, it just looked like I was holding a normal coffee or some hot drink from Starbucks. 
http://www.starbucks.com/menu/drinks/kids-drinks-and-other/caramel-apple-spice?foodZone=9999 The Caramel apple spice winter drink is basically steamed, freshly pressed apple juice and cinnamon syrup, topped with sweetened whipped cream and caramel drizzle. In the US, they also do a plain version (steamed apple juice without the cream). I took my first sip, and it was better than expected, it wasnt the type of apple juice that you would get from a carton, it was like McDonalds apple pie fillng in liquid form, it was slightly sour, but the sourness was not that eye squinting sourness of carton apple juice. The spices in the drink made it pleasant, the whipped cream made the drink even more dreamy. I would have loved more cream and caramel, it was like drinking apple pie. If the cream was ice-cream, it would be like drinking apple pie and ice-cream. But the whipped cream and caramel tasted perfect with the steamed apple juice. Having only a banana for breakfast, I had the excuse (and quota) to drink a cup of black sesame green tea latte. call me a nut but I had to calculate the calories I consume… anyhow, I ordered a cup of tall BSGTL with skimmed milk , extra hot, for I hate lukewarm drinks. The latte was still not hot enough which was a disappointment. But the sesame and green tea blended well and you could taste BOTH in one sip instead of one taste after another. The foam was pretty good too, and I finished the thing within 10 minutes. This starbucks was also exceptionally cold and it speeded up my drinking. Anyhow, the BSGTL is def a drink you cant afford to miss this summer. but do try the frapp version if you have the quota for i heard its really good
