Grove Sandwiches  

An interesting take on potato salad. The wieners, which surprisingly have quite a nice, crispy skin, certainly spice it up (if you like sausages). The lettuce, though hidden underneath, is always fresh too. What I dislike about this salad is how the potatoes are sliced instead of cubed… because somehow, I think it affects the way it tastes, by making it less…starchy. Anyhow, they are coated well with sauce and have bacon bits and raw spring onions sprinkled on top, though the latter can leave your mouth smelling a bit foul. Perhaps it would be better if there was some sauce for the lettuce as well, since it could get rather plain. It’s also interesting that this salad seems to be different every time I get it – sometimes, there’re purple cabbage strips as well, sometimes there’s a larger portion of potatoes…etc
