I have tried this restaurant many times before. While the quality of the sushi is not too reliable at times, I have always found that the teppanyaki is quite good. Recently we went there to have the teppanyaki set lunch. We ordered 2 sets which basically included salad, miso soup, seafood (prawn and scallop), lamb, beef, vegetables, and fried rice and noodles. The lamb and beef were both very delicious and the fried rice superb. The service was good - in particular, one of the chef was very polite and considerate towards customers. Well worth a try. The teppanyaki in this restaurant is good, but not quite as good when you see how it costs. Nevertheless, I'd still go, just because there's not enough competition in Shatin when it comes to quality food. The sashimi and sushi's are very fresh, and exquisitely presented. The yakitori's are nicely done, though not the best. In general the food is just above average in all aspects, but the price is more than above average. Service is professional, though the restaurant does tend to be inadequately pretentious at times, especially after it has been renovated.
