They were both basically the same, except the sushi was one big piece of cod liver and the warship was pieces of cod liver. The price was quite cheap especially the warship which only cost $9 the same as the other sushi's on the menu. The taste of the cod liver was nice and silky however it was sweetened which ruined it for me.

The first time I tried 板長, I came to this branch. It was not good at all, the rice, fish slicing skills, everything was below par. Then for some reason I came here again 2 more times and it was still quite unimpressive. Ever since I've been going to the 鰂魚涌康山道 branch, as over there they have a Japanese chef over looking the operations. The hot aburi sushis are better managed with better timings. The sushi rice over there is much more 'correct' and not too loose or not too tight, plus usually in the right consistent shape. I do not recommend this branch at all. Ricky san should take note of this - quality of his particular branch is very bad!
