    Food overall is ok.

    1. not enough waiters
instruct people to wait outside the restaurant when it is full, but nobody lead us to seats
customers have to find themselves, this nearly caused embrassing accident for us - race for a table with others
    This point can be improved.

    2. tables uncleaned
again, problem of not enough waiters
no one come to help cleaning new comers' desks, until request
This is not expected for Saturday night dinner.

    3. my ice cream (strawberry) already melting 1/3 when it arrived my table
while my gal's (mango) was still 100% cool
quite disppointing to see it when I was expecting a cool ice cream, instead of a 1/3 melt

This is not Italian food. Cries Apr 13, 2010

Spent our long holiday over Easter at Tsuen Wan, lots of shopping malls and residential buildings.

The food court at this latest shopping mall had a lot of Chinese cuisine to choose from, almost all of them packed with people. There was only 1 western restaurant that we spotted in near vicinity, and this is it, Cafe Riso.

They claim to be practicing the latest trend - self booking. So you write down your name and number of people you're booking for on a paper, and they'll follow that list from there onwards. Ook, whatever.

I KNEW that I would absolutely hate the meals here, just by looking at the food that other people are having, but I think my husband has been deprived of Western food for too long that he is willing to take the risk.

I ordered Mushroom Fettucine + garlic bread + hot drink. If I had to, had to choose, the better would be the garlic bread, mind you, it's not the real thing, it'd be those really soft bread with garlic paste, and shoved into the oven. The hot lemon citrus drink was not up to standard as well. It was not strong enough and I think my cup was sort of like a plastic cup. You don't pour hot drinks into a half plastic/plastic cup. Wrong.

My meal. Sigh. It was quite devastating my meal. The Fettucine was quite thick, and the sauce was like Mushroom soup from Campbell's, it was not creamy and it sure is not Italian food. Husband ordered pizza. Heh. The base was the thick puffy base, not enough cheese on top, and it low quality ham.

What a waste of time and money. And to think that we actually waited for a table. Pft!

Naturally since it was a horrible meal, I couldn't be bothered taking pictures.
