If it's a weekend and there are more than four (4) of you eating, I suggest that you call ahead and make a booking. Otherwise, just show up at the door and enjoy. Cafe Siam has got the Central-restaurant vibe balance down pat - located along Lyndhurst Terrace, almost right below the mid-levels escalator, it is very accessible and easy to find. I am a regular Cafe Siam lunch customers. The food is still on average but the service is really getting worse. They just put the dishes on the plate that we have just finished. THis is a restaurant, not a Tai Pai Tong. How can this be. We gently asked for warm water, and the waitress looks rude. Then gave us a cup of boling water.
