Beautiful Sunday after a few days in freezing cold weather, planned to go Wetland Park and had lunch at Nadaman. This's my first time here, tried the one at Island Shangri-la before. Decent and mordern interior design, comfortable seating and very friendly services. Lunch menu is attractive, there are many choices and now they are offering Christmas Champagne drinks as well. I tried the sashimi set and my friend ordered the 怀石料理. For my sashimi set, actually it includes a set of 3 appetizers, 6 selections of sashimi, grill fish, rice and soup. One of the appetizer is the 海参, Yummy! Sashimi is fine selected, very fresh; and the gril fish is nicely done and very delicious. Another set includes more varieties, apart from the appetizers, the most impressive dish is the yam, beef cheek and 鱼精 tempura; all are perfectly presented, lovely

We have ordered a combination sushi & tuna sushi bowl, the ingredient itself was ok, but the sushi rice was real bad. There are no taste in the sushi rice at all. The cold undo was so so, nothing special at all. This is not the first time we visit this restaurant, and the food is getting worst & worst each time. Disappointed !! Sui Kei (Non-member) | Don't ever order any grilled ***FISH*** from this restaurant. The FISH is so SALTY, and I have to keep drinking tea. We were told that the fish was directly from Japan, somewhere.... but the texture of the fish just showed that it is not fresh at all, and possibly marinated with too much salt to keep it fresh. Conclusion: DON'T ORDER the so called FISH from Japan. DON'T listen to any server who deliberately recommends it. It is only because the fish is expensive and not fresh and difficult to sell. Our 2nd half as below: Cheeze on bread * The cheeze is orangey in colour, i do not think it's chadder, i think it's those special kind of cheeze * first they have the cheeze in the pot and heat it over the tenppan * they "toast" the bread over the tenppan, it's does looks like a toasted bread * the bread and the cheeze goes very very well together, it feels like heaven when you have this * the gooze liver and the cheeze bread - i don't think you can have this else where or how they really make it so good elsewhere lobster + fish * i love their sauce for the lobster, it looks like thousand island, but of course it is not * the lobster of coures is very ver fresh and it's well done * the fish comes with the herb sauce, indeed good with texture of the fish and freshness of it is undeniable. * this seafood dish is great Scallop * this they put it in white wine at the end, don't know what kind of white wine, but it's good * they cook the scallop in different parts, so they are well done when put together at last * the seaweed on the side in the wine is unique and i love it very much Tofu, asparagus, Mushroom & egg plant * this comes with a vinegar sauce, which brings out the outstanding taste in the veggie * the tofu is just right, a bit burnt though * asparagus is ok * i love the mushroom, so soft n hot!! * i go without the egg plant, allegic to it.. Beef * i go with medium, we have two sauce to pick from, one is sesame, the other is just a garlic in the red vinegar * the beef is from australia, but says it's "wo" beef, so they do have two types * the beef is very good, i always love the beef with the roasted garlic Soup/ rice/ bean sprout * the lobster misu soup - very good, i always love this * rice is just veggie mix with rice and egg, very freshly made oh i am so full by now, i almost can't finish any of these * bean sprout is 90% cooked, so it has some crisp to it, a bit oily Dessert - Strawberry pudding * i should have gone with the green tea ice cream, which is my fav. it's very strong green tea with Nadaman's self made receipe * the strawberry pudding is a bit hard, the strawberry is a bit too sour * the sauce...nothing special

Our clients are in HK, thus we are inviting them for tenpanyaki we ordered 3 sets with gooze liver, 2 with beef n lobster Our dinner goes this way Cream of Fish soup * this is a bit fishy than i thought... * the cream is good, the soup is orangey in colour * it does have some "texture" to the soup, like it has some kind of potato?i am unsure... * i don't see the "fish" maybe the texture is the fish in the soup * overall it's good soup you can't get elsewhere Cold spinach with dry scallop + mushroom * this is just some cold servings * the spiinach is fresh, the dry scallop is tasty n seasoned * the mushroom is soggy and taste smooth, very funny feeling Japanese salad * they put turnip in there, makes the salad unique n "crispy" * the sauce is outstanding - i think the hotel made it themselves, can't have it elsewhere * the greens are very fresh * i'd always love their salad Goose liver wtih pear n cranberry sauce * this is even better than the lobster for me * i have tried goose liver in Germany and other Europe area...they SUCK, never had i have one this good. Now i am very picky with goose liver because this just makes you feel TOP OF THE WORLD...so good - must try!!! * the pear is bringing out sweetness * the cranberry sauce makes the whole dish lightened up * of course the gooze liver have crispy outside and almost liquid inside, it's refreshing to the tongue...oh man... This is the first half....

I visited the restaurant with my friend last night. Each of us was given a menu. I ordered based on the one I was given. In the middle of the dinner, we liked to order something else and asked the waiter for the menu again. I was given a menu without the chef's recommendation for October (the first page in my first menu). I told the waiter about the missing page and was given another. This time, instead of a missing page, I found a new page attached at the end. That was a new set to celebrate the re-opening of the restaurant!! It worths only $480 and consisted of so many dishes! We filed a complaint immediately because if we had seen the page, we'd have ordered that set!! Other Ratings: Taste 4 | Environment 4 | Service 3 | Hygiene 5 | Value for Money 3

orangepaint (Non-member) | This is the Japanese restaurant that I and my family often go for lunch during weekends. We find that the price there is very reasonble bearing in mind that this is a Japanese restaurant in a 5 star hotel. The food is quite good and the service is also good. I often meet my friends dining there. Other Ratings: Taste 4 | Environment 3 | Service 4 | Hygiene 5 | Value for Money 4
