When I was walking around in the busy streets in Causeway Bay, suddenly found this nice cafe on the 2nd floor, above some shops. They have a pretty logo and nice decorated entrance, feeling like entering a garden from a busy and noisy world.

Seating area by the windows are separated by flowers printed partitions; there are some planting partitions used to separate between seats, quite nice.

Main menu offers salad, pasta, baked rice, etc and a dessert menu. Quite a lot of choices

I picked a baked rice with scallops and shrimps with spinach, which was quite good made-to-order, 3-4 pcs of scallops and shrimps each with evenly placed spinach and cheese in the rice The scallops tasted fresh but can be more tasty.

Rose tea with honey, served separately, nice...very relax.

Service was pleasant.

Dessert really does bring happiness and completeness to life!

After a simple dinner, we had appetite for some Japanese-style dessert.



It was quite surprising that on a Tuesday night, at about 8:30pm and we still have to wait for a table. But we really wanted to try, so decided to wait .... 5 tables ahead of us. But their waiting area was quite comfortable, not like waiting on the street. There were white sofa to sit while you wait, and new Japanese magazines too (I was surprised that they were offering January 2011 magazines .... instead of really old ones). After browsing an issue of "Spring", then our number was called. Yeah!

We didn't get window seats ...... and our table was very very close to the one next to ours ..... I can touch the girl beside me. But that's okay.

Their dessert menu were amazing!!!

Taste: Excellent! Not too sweet!

Presentation: Perfect! But they were actually smaller than appeared in the menu.

Price: Reasonable.

Will go back very soon to try other desserts and drinks!

This review is for all guys to read only, so if you are a girl, do not read because I know you will NOT agree and may be somewhat angry after reading it.

Guys, be warned that this place does not make any main courses that taste good. Desserts may be OK, but I didn't try any because my girl was angry at me by the time we finished the main course.

My girl certainly understands me well because she could tell as she was eating that I was not happy with this place. I like to eat food that actually has taste. We had the deep fried pumpkin bacon balls and it was made of potatoes, carrots, and a little piece of bacon if you look hard enough. We also had a baked seafood rice with cheese on top. I thought "yes, something baked with cheese should be very tasty." Surprise! It was tasteless also. You have to be a pretty f'n bad cook to f-up a dish that is baked with cheese. I order a baked cheese rice at a cafe for $28 that tastes 100 times better! Here, it was 60-70 I think? There is NO tea special either!

So the lesson of this review is that either you stay away from this place or you ACT happy when you go with a girl. She will like it for sure if she likes to "eat decoration" And that is fine if she will "eat YOU" later at night. But if not, then stay the F away if you actually enjoy eating good food.

We 3 ppl had lunch here cos we noted that desserts were buy one get one free by using HSBC credit card.

The environment was very clean and relax. Most of the decorations were in white.

The dessert menu was very attractive. There were over 60 choices. We ordered 4 desseets.

Mango Parfait: with mango ice=cream on top and some jelly mixed into it. Very fresh and not so sweet.

rainbow crepe: with 2 ice-cream, chocolate and vanilla. Quite normal.

Banana apple pie: apple was used for topping and with a rich taste of apple and banana. Also with an ice-cream.

Banana Cinnamon Waffle: Waffle was a bit over baked with bitter taste.

Overall it\'s very tasty and price is reasonable with HSBC credit card. Definitely will go again.

Today, I go with colleagues to 風月堂at CWB for lunch. The environment is very clean and spacous, make you feel relax and welcome.

Three of us ordered 2 set lunch and 4 desserts (dessert buy one get one free if pay by HSBC visa card).

Set Lunch 1($6x): 燒雞拼煙肉卷定食- OK.
Set Lunch 2($6x): 忌廉帶子篇意粉- delicious!

Additions for set lunch including:
1)soup(taste good)
2)salad(too small, ok)
3)dessert (ie. a pancake + an ice-cream, u can choose the favour for ice-cream, we strongly recommend 豆腐味, and strawberry favour also ok)

Desserts:
1)芒果雪巴特飲
2)Apple Pie
3)Rainbow Pancake
4)Banana Pancake

All desserts taste good!

hehe, there is a promotion for HSBC visa card at 風月堂now ,ie. 80% discount for original price dishes and dessert buy 1 get 1 free, so good, especially their desserts are super delicious and price are very cheap now. We hope this discount will last forever.

We are very happy with the lunch. However, the service is a bit slow, perhaps too many customers during lunch hour. But the waiters are quite nice and helpful in respond.

Overall, it is a good quality restaurant, will recommend to friends!
