After performing at the mall for the a charity event, there's nothing better than going for a treat with your team. Someone preferred having Taiwanese food and so we came here. There weren't a lot of people when we went there. We even got the big table at a quiet corner, which had given a very relaxing and comfortable environment. The menu has quite a variety of food to choose from, and both lunch and tea sets were available at that time. For those who merely wanted small bites, we ordered the honeyed chicken wings tea set. The dish included four chicken wings, which I think is too few for a $26-set. I didn't have a try, but I think it looked fairly nice, with sesame sprinkled over.Another snack we ordered was a new-promoting dish, something called the oat dumplings in chili oil. The chili oil was okay, with a bit of spice, but I personally think that the dumplings lacked flavor and it's basically absolutely tasteless without dipping the chili oil.For something a bit more stomach-filling yet small bites, we had a tea set which includes beef pastry pockets and a sago pudding. This set was quite a bit of a disappointment. The beef pastry pockets were quite small in size, seriously merely a one-bite size. It was also very oily, which was definitely not a good impression to me. I suggest that the pastry pockets should be cut into smaller portions when eating as the filling inside was extremely hot.The sago pudding was so so. There was a layer of red bean as well at the bottom other than the sago. The texture isn't particularly good or anything. Now up to food of larger portions and more fulfilling ones. We ordered two bowls of noodles, one was the beef noodles from the lunch set, and the other was chicken noodles from the tea set.The beef noodles is quite rich in flavor I think, and the texture of beef was okay. The dish was moderate. The chicken noodles was pretty aromatic. The chicken was pretty tender and flavorsome. Also, the noodles had a pretty great texture, which made it pretty enjoyable to eat. One of the drinks we ordered was bubble milk tea. I think it was pretty good. I won't say it's terrifically great, or that it was surprising, but it's satisfying. My friend ordered another special drink from the menu, which is something of blueberry and yakult. It did sound quite special and was of quite a large glass. My friend thought it was quite a pleasure to drink.Well it seems that the drinks in overall were more satisfactory than the food, but anyway, this place had given us a relaxing atmosphere for us to chill after some hard work. Nonetheless, I don't think it was a place nice enough to return and crave for more, and some dishes just don't worth the value as well. continue reading

continue reading
