I'm struggling if I should give a crying face or an OK for this restaurant.

I believe the food was good, some were excellent, some wasn't good. We ordered a set for 4, the food to me was alright in size, it's not that small as others comment. However, I'm still going to give a crying face, and here's the reason why:

Actually the service was okay. They set down food without telling you the dish name, and we ordered some chicken, we assumed that was the right chicken, we put squeezed some lemon on it but didn't eat it, about 10 mins later, they put down another plate of chicken which we thought the other was, and we told them that the other dish came earlier wasn't ours, the lady immediately took away the plate without asking if we ate it or not, I was kind of surprised they'd take away, but it's okay, it's not our food anyways, but we did squeeze the lemon on it. After they took the plate, we thought that actally looked pretty good and we feel bad for squeezing lemon on it and they might end up throwing the food away, so we told the guy we'd take that plate, to my surprise, he said out loud that the dish went to another customer, I feel really bad for the other customers, god knows what germs and stuff got into the food especially we used our own hand to squeeze the lemon juice on the food, and that guy even had the guts to say it out loud, the restaurant was not full, the other table could definitely hear what he said. so we said "oh okay" we didn't say we'd order another dish, the owner lady came talk to us and was chatting about that dish and how it's their signature dish, we told her "yea, if it's not enough after we finish the food, we could order that one again" then we kept on eating our food.

after we finish all our food, we were getting ready to order drinks, I asked the same guy for the menu, it has a list of more than 10 drinks, you know the normal kind of coffee, tea, lemon tea as well as some specialty drinks, since the set comes with a drink I asked "which one is okay to order" he said all these you can order, including the more pricey drinks, he didn't mention if we have to pay the difference, the normal drinks priced $16, the specialty drinks priced at $20... I told him we'll take a look. After we got ready to order a drinks, suddenly another lady came to put down the dish that was delivered by mistake at the first time, we were surprised because we didn't order that at the end, the lady actually was pissed because she delivered the 1st dish to us when we told her it's a mistake, she asked "Did you order it anyway?" in a rude tone like we've done something bad, then we asked who took the order,..... no one knows, the owner lady and the other guy came and convinced us to keep the dish, we were okay to have it cause it looked delish, but I was thrown off by the server being rude to us when it wasn't even us that made any mistake in the first place.

Then we ordered the drink, we ordered a specialty drink, this time it was the owner lady took our drink order, she said, "oh if you order this, it's extra $10" since it was my maid from Indonesia wanting to try, I didn't say anything and said okay, cause my maid would say it's okay not to order it. but the guy told us it's okay to order any drinks on the menu, to us we assume that it's included in our set.

Anyhow, after we finished the drinks, I said there was a $2 extra charge on ordering the skewers in the set with half & half of each meat. When we ordered our set at the first time, he asked which meat we'd like for our skewers, it's half a dozen, and we were thinking, then he initiated that "you can have half & half, I can do it for you" and he NEVER EVER EVER mentioned that there's a $2 charge for not having the exact same meat for our skewerrs, it's like wow our cost has just jacked up because you don' t want your half dozen of meat to be the same and we had to charge you two freaking dollars, that was the same guy who made the mistake on our order, who made another order without our permission & convinced us to keep it, who intentionally told me it's okay to order any drinks on the menu & led us believe there's no extra charge, at that time I was just NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT!!!

I told the owner lady that if you are charging extra, you should tell me about the charge and not say "oh you can have it, I can do it for you" like you can personally do it for you just a courtesy, I told her that when we asked about the drinks, he never said anything about $10, funny thing is that she said they charged the difference if we order specialty drinks, I don't see a $20 specialty drink and a $16 normal drink would yield a $10 charge on the price difference , but when we paid the bill, it says I had to pay $8

Their service was okay, the owner lady chatted with us and is being very friendly. But I just don't buy these sneaky tricks to get money out of you. We were so surprised that someone would just put an order for another dish when we even told the owner that we'd wait til we finish and see if we need more food.....

We'd come again, but I have to give a crying face because of that, SORRY!
