It’s always nice to go to Sen-ryo for sushi craving. It’s well-known that the quality of Japanese foods here is above level~ The price is slightly higher than Genki Sushi though, it absolutely worths the price! Every time I come here must go for Marinated Tuna and Prime Yellowtail. Simply fresh and soft! The fatty salmon roe is also my favorite~ Soft shell crab hand roll we ordered this time was hot enough and tasted really good! I tried Codfish Liver this time, not really fancy me… I don’t know what kind of magic to make people keep coming over for sushi but indeed, I can’t wait to go for sushi craving in real soon!

I went there last night for a late night bite with my sis. We had several plates consisting of scallop sashimi, salmon nigiri, the sesame tofu and an odd plate of dried cucumbers with miso paste. As always, the food there (aside from the cucumbers but that is my fault for even attempting to try it..) is always quite good and consistent. BUT when we proceed to pay for the bill....the mere 5 plates came to almost HK$400....we requested them to re-count our plates as we did not recall having certain plates they marked us down for...the girl was not friendly or helpful and instead insisted that we did eat order those. The plates were STILL on the table and we requested them to not clean the table yet (NOTE: there were NO customers waiting in line as this was half an hr before their closing time) and to do a re-count. She did not do as we requested and instead when the relatively more helpful and senior staff arrived, she noticed FIRST THING that the bill was for a different table. GREAT service eh? all in all...I find a generous tip is necessary for exceptional service and warmth from the staff but and standard tip should apply for even mediocre service. BUT for my recent experience there? well... NUFF said! Other Ratings: Taste 4 | Environment 4 | Service 1 | Hygiene 4 | Value for Money 4

The shushi is very fresh and I can see the chief make the shushi when I make order. The dish I most prefer is steam egg. It softly melt in the mouth. btw, there's a japanese manager frequently say "Oishi". Have much feel in Japan. Recommended Dish(es):

BB (Non-member) | I had a lunch on Oct 3, which was very good. Good food at good prices and services. sushi is fresh and presentation is decent. my favourite is soft shell crab hand roll, eel sushi, salmon and tuna sushi. i wen with two other gals, so we three had 13 plates of sushi at a total cost of $330. but we felt very full. apparently it's a sister chain of genki sushi, so it's a Maxim's restaurant. a bonus- handsome sushi chefs at the counter.
