place is not very good coz inside the market, but food is ok!

ordered grapefruit prawn salad~
$8x / dish which is quite expensive, but portion is quite large, the grapefruit is in large pieces and very sweet, not sour,
ther is peanuts which is very cripsy, prawn is very large and fresh, anyway it's very fresh and open my stomach to eat more!!!
it's good that it's not very spicy at all~

garlic bread~
wow!!! very cripsy and a lot of garlic paste on the bread, freshly baked and not oily!

pineapple fried rice~
not oily at all, pineapple is very sweet and the rice is dry which is good, only $4x and large in portion, also there is green bean, corns and some small prawns, many many contents inside~

after dinner ther is free dessert-->coconut sai mai cake, which is good and cold, coconut taste is very rich!

Since the advert said it's good, I might as well give it a try with my sister~
The place is not difficult to find, just at the corner. I went on a saturday lunch, rather a lot of poeple there.

Sat down, wanting to order the yellow set lunch, NOT AVAILABLE ON SAT?

Food ordered:
1. Fried 'gwai' 'diu' ~ rather a lot of oil, taste so so
2. Green curry pork with rice - taste is not bad, also gave me a lot of rice!
3. cold lime soda ~ this is a BEAUTY!

I also saw the table next to us also were taking photos of the restaurant, probably another open ricer!
The food is ok, so I probably won't come back unless I am around the area.

The thai food in 泰之味 is really good
The food is really 正中

The 冬蔭功 is highly recomemnded
it tastes good and the shrimp in the 冬蔭功 is fresh

The 椰青海鮮焗飯 is also good
there are slices of coconut in the rice and the 份量 is 足

肉碎炒飯 is not good enough
they just put 肉碎 on top of the 飯
so the tatse is just ok

the 飯後甜品 is also good and is free of charge!

Set amongst other dai pai dong style chinese restaurants on the 2nd floor of a municipal wet market, it was pretty clean and adequately air-conditioned for a summer's evening. The service was attentive and polite, even pulling out (foldable) chairs for the ladies and handing over a bowl of rice with two hands. A big plastic Carlsberg jug of hot tea on each table ensures that you won't need to flag down the waitress every time for a refill.

We ordered the prawn cakes, which turned out to be more like prawn balls, and didn't taste particularly impressive, but it was still decent. Then we had a pad thai which was generously sprinkled with chopped peanuts, chilli and other condiments, but I don't recall seeing any prawns or chicken in it, just a few pieces of dried tofu. But I liked it still, because it wasn't oily and it was very nicely flavoured. The red curry chicken stole the show, it came piled with eggplants, green beans and fresh pieces of chicken (not the fresh frozen ones), and the curry sauce was bubbling away in a big clay pot. It wasn't too spicy, and we wolfed down the rice doused in curry sauce. We also ordered a "thai style flying sky Kai lan" but it never came as they forgot our order, but it was probably a blessing in disguise as we were pretty full already. A large bottle of thai beer costed $20 and was a perfect company for the food.

I looked at some of the other dishes, and the prices could vary quite a bit. For example the pomelo salad was ~$88 whilst the other salads were only $48, the baked rice in coconut/pineapple were at least twice as much as the other stirfried rice, and of course some the seafood dishes are easily well over $100. Even the pumpkin dessert wasn't cheap, and definitely too much for 2 people to share.

But we ordered economically, and it came up to $160 for the whole meal.
