table booked for 7.30pm, and said we have to return table by 9.30pm.

when i (1 person) arrived at 7.15pm, the staff at the entrance saying we have to return table by 9.15pm, coz only 2 hrs dining is allowed.

me asked why can't we just return the table by 9.30p as originally planned. Answer was NO again.

"so, i have to wait here and be seated at 7.30pm only can I dine till 9.30pm". said YES.

"why can't u just let me sit for 15 mins while waiting for my friends?"
"If that's the case, you have to return the table by 9.15pm"

(the restaurant was just 30% filled by that time, and was like 40% filled when we left at 9.30pm)

i can't believe there's such a rule imposed, while think it's from the management rather than from the staff herself. Pathetic!

so bad that i was being pissed off by the waitress and their so called manager the first thing i enter into the restaurant.
Even though they have a lot of empty table, they did not allow me to choose the one that is more comfortable and "instructed" me that i can only take the small table that is around the corner.
I can't accept to pay a middle range price with zero/even negative service like this.
The service is much better in TST and CWB shop and it is time for their boss to review on the service again since there are so many choices in MK and the success to stand is not just the quality of food but also services as a whole

it was my first attempt for Jap grilled food. Nice atmosphere when we entered the restaurant, feels like really gone to Japan...haha...we are lucky to get seats even though we haven't booked the table in advance.

I ordered a set which is a promotion for HSBC credit card holder. The set includes lobster, beef, chicken, udon and some cold dishes. To be honest, it's not really worth it even if its in promotion. My bf is not full at all after the dinner.

Beef: was ok....first trial for the famous beef from Japan...
Beef Tongue: very fresh and crispy when its cooked...nice one
Chicken: well seasoned with some kind of herb....very yummy
Lobster: a bit small, definitely not enough for 3 of us
Udon: not really special but the soup is boiled from the head of the lobster

I appreciate with the service they providing, well explanation before we start our feast, but the food is coming really slow, improvement is needed.

Overall, it's a nice place fro dining, just a bit expensive though. Will still recommend it for special occasions.

The wagyu beef short ribs (Karubi) I ordered here had absolutely no marbling, it was a rip off at the price for few pieces. Wish I took the photo to show here.

However seems like some other people who ordered Wagyu beef got good quality, so it was only me on this occasion? But this type of thing will never happen in Japan.

Other meats, especially the Beef ones are overly marinated and so sweet, compared to the real Japanese ones - some special ones cannot be ordered without the sweet 'tare' sauce, so you can't opt for the salt only sauce.

Overall, very non-genuine experience compared to Japan.

Stick to 伊呂波燒肉 Iroha, which is managed by Japanese chef is much much much more authentic than here, much better taste, although more expensive.
