This is the second time I went to this shop for their chicken rice! I went too late for the first time and the salty chicken has been sold out and therefore me and my friend ordered soy sauce chicken and the 霸王chicken. The soy sauce chicken is so so but the other one was reli good esp with the fried garlic. I have to say their portion is HUGE! There are lots of sprouts underneath the chicken and makes it a well balanced meal! The veggie rice is reli good as well.

For the second time I go I ordered a salty chicken rice set! The chicken is really good! The only description I can give its 雞有雞味! It's reli different from the other chicken they have in store and you can feel the freshness of the chicken. The only part I don't like is the chicken is a bit over cooked. But still it's a very good set and value for money given that you are only paying $58 for the set!
I reli recommend this restaurant to those who likes to eat chicken!

To continue with my gastronomic expedition in Yuen Long yesterday I visited an eatery that is famous for its fresh chickens prepared in various ways. I arrived at about 5:30pm with a few customers still having their afternoon tea. I was given a menu with a lot of things to choose from although I had known very well that I arrived intentionally for their famous Bawang Chicken. The dinner set consisted of a bowl of vegetable rice, the soup of the day, and of course the Bawang Chicken. The vegetable rice is actually cooked rice tossed with vegetable shreds, it was very well made with the freshness of the vegetable easily felt since the vegetable shreds are still crunchy with its fragrance, the only cons was that it was a bit too oily. The soup of the day was prepared with chicken legs, yellow beans, pearl barley and some meat. No taste enhancer had been used, and I thought the freshness of the ingredients was again the greatest contributing factor for the deliciousness. Indeed I wanted to order another bowl seperately after finishing the first one that came with the dinner set. The Bawang Chicken looked very beautiful garnished with shredded green onion and ginger on top of the dish, the chicken pieces seemed to had come from every parts of a chicken as I could find everything from chicken leg, wing, breast to even neck! Frankly speaking the taste of chicken was only average taking into consideration that the restaurant is famous of this poultry, but I would say it was still better than the frozen one. The bean sprouts at the bottom of the dish were a delightful surprise to me, so fresh, crunchy, and savoury eaten together with the chicken juice! Only $46 for this dinner set, quite a bargain in my opinion with the qaulity of food provided. I'll try another foods next time.

Never wanna dine in as donno-y so many ppl eat there.
The food is nice especially the chicken. However, service
is not satisfactory as the staff have attitude problem.

Overall, can try but don't go too often.
