前幾天來到銅鑼灣辦行街,順道吃一個甜品,因此來到了Waffills吃一個窩夫waffills的窩夫好吃是大家聞名的,每天都有很多人排隊坪好我來的時間比較早,不用排隊吃了一個肉桂蘋果窩夫,真的不錯呀肉桂蘋果味道十分清甜,吃起內口腔也有餘香窩夫也十分脆口之餘,內裡卻是非常軟熟,口感超一流雪糕用上名牌雪糕,雲妮拿味十分突出不過價錢有點貴,差不多$88吃一何窩夫,很貴呢 continue reading

早兩晚途經Waffills發現門口招牌被紙張遮蓋已心知不妙,上網查訖究竟,原來真的結業了,很可惜..Waffills是我在銅鑼灣區其中一間愛光顧的小店,尤其閒日下午做完運動後,到此吃個簡單茶點最是寧靜舒服..人生很多事情就是這樣,還來不及細想,回味..就已經過去..記得每次到來,就是喜歡最簡單原始的食物,點上一客waffle配一球雪糕,加一杯熱飲,熱烘烘軟綿綿,外脆內柔的細緻口感,十分滿足.再見吧,Waffills..雖然也不知道將來何時何地可會再見.. continue reading

Very nice and warm small shop. My family just want to have a dessert after dinner and looked around for somewhere nice. The service is good.  The waitress is friendly.The waffles are quite big per serving. They were freshly made to each order!  Adding the Belgian made ice cream, it was perfect. The waffles were crispy, unlike what we usually got, feeling lighter and healthier. The ice cream was smooth and creamy, the berries are fresh( we ordered berry flavor). The chocolate milkshake also smooth and creamy, not to mention the taste of Belgian chocolate.We will certainly come again continue reading

星期五的夜晚,下著雨且有點寒,但不阻礙開心星期五的覓食路。帶著開心而又疲倦的身心,來到銅鑼灣的禮頓道,朝著目標餐廳進發,終於來到門前,這一刻,已急不及待的走進店子,嚷著要點這點那。Waffils 一直是目標餐廳之一,可惜一直沒有時間造訪,直到今晚如願以償般的,到這裡開餐。當入到餐廳,就讓在下看到那些照片,拿著窩夫的笑著,就像吃著窩的那種滿足的感覺。無論是在門口的易拉架,抑或手執著餐牌,都是那些以不同食材,所造成所創出的窩夫漢堡,還有的是那沙律中的窩夫,都是這店的主打。Chicken Tikka Masala (六十個大洋)窩夫用上一個盒子盛載,拆開後,一個有一格格的窩夫終於現身,咦,雞肉呢?就在窩夫裡面,看,那紅紅的雞肉就破窩夫而出。窩夫當然是外脆內軟不須多講,紅色的雞肉成雞蓉似的,味道帶有微籢的辛辣味道,雞肉不嚡而滑。煙肉芝士漢堡(六十五個大洋)窩夫做的漢堡,還是首嚐。除了窩夫,食材還包括了半溶的芝士、牛肉、蕃茄、煙肉及蔬菜,提供了日常所需的蛋白質與纖維,而醬汁中則配以燒烤醬。除了蔬菜與蕃茄夠新鮮外,當中的芝士已經完全地溶合在牛肉與煙肉中,而且煙肉與牛肉也化成一體,故吃起來味道甚為濃郁,而那煙肉還可以吃到半肥瘦和脆口的質感,而芝士與牛肉的味道也相當之夾吧。香蕉蜜餞果仁(六十五個大洋)是一個甜品來的,窩夫配上單球雪糕,焦糖杏仁碎和焦糖醬,而雪糕則是人手製的比利時雪糕。吃的時候,把全部食材放在窩夫上面,使窩夫有種冷熱的感覺,而且有著雪杏糕仁與焦糖的甜味,縱使雪糕與焦糖有甜度,但是卻又不至於太甜膩,反而是剛好的味覺。比利時熱朱古力(三十四個大洋)下著雨而又有點涼意的同時,來一杯熱飲,可以增加體溫,而且朱古力奶沒有想像中的那麼的甜,實是不錯的飲品。夜了,吃過窩夫做的晚餐,身體暖和得多,顧客也多了,迫爆了餐廳,是時候要讓座了吧。 continue reading

格仔餅,雞蛋仔是陪伴不少香港人成長的地道小食,放學後總想買一底半底行回家,格仔餅都跟隨著我們一齊長大了,再不是以前那個單純的格仔餅了......今次就去銅鑼灣WAFFILLS,尋找"變格•格仔餅"。沿禮頓道走,經過街口的老牌食店再向前行,就到了WAFFILLS, 晚上6點,客人不太多,但始終是放工時間,座位真是靠運氣。店內座位目測2人枱不過10張,店內裝修簡單,小木枱加上柔和淡黃燈泡,拼黑色鐵材,帶點點美式感覺。雪糕蘋果批窩夫小提示: 雪糕兩個價錢是代表不同雪糕等級(普通版/高級版)價錢唔差很多,我揀高級單球!蘋果批窩夫,名不虛傳,即叫即做,硬皮脆身,外表與一般窩夫無異,但用刀切開會見到新鮮蘋果肉粒粒,由於新鮮泡製,溫度相當高,小心燙口。蘋果新鮮,大大粒,加入玉桂味等香料焗製,香味撲鼻。窩夫外皮做得厚薄適中,蘋果剛剛好藏在窩夫中,蘋果雖香,但仍然食到窩夫的蛋香味,而且硬度十足,點雪糕食剛剛好。雜莓雪糕比預期中好味,內有莓肉,雪糕酸度襯托著蘋果的甜,一切剛剛好。香蕉朱古力奶昔香蕉跟朱古力再加入雪糕打碎而成,忌廉上淋上焦糖,店員說是老闆親自研發的,是店內的招牌飲品。入口感覺比想像中淡,不太甜,香蕉香濃,很重的香蕉味,是新鮮香蕉而不是香蕉油那種,感覺健康清新,因加入了雪糕,口感幼滑豐富。香烤雞肉煙肉芝士窩夫漢堡白色窩夫層其實是中國傳統的饅頭,將饅頭打做成一格格的窩夫型形狀做成漢堡外層,入口比想像中柔軟,但比一般傳統饅頭乾身。接著是車打芝士,熱軟的芝士半熔化狀包著煙肉和雞,煙肉都有兩三塊,如果焗得再乾身就更香口,配上包內雞扒,味道剛剛好,雞扒煎得嫰香,肉汁滲透在下層的蕃茄和生菜中,我們食得津津有味,這是第一次食咸味窩夫,期待下次其他變格出品。 continue reading
