Introduction
Xin Dau ji strives to serve authentic, traditional Cantonese cuisine, and prides itself for its sincere, responsive and friendly service, outstanding dishes and exquisite dim sum. Our first shop in Jordan was awarded a Michelin star in 2012-2013 for its outstanding food and service. The group has nine branches across Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen, positioning itself as one of the best Cantonese restaurants in town. The restaurant is famous for its signature roasted suckling pig, of which delicately sliced meat comes with a reasonable amount of fat, flavourful taste and crispy skin. The crispy and juicy deep fried fish fillet in sweet cream of corn dressing is also an unregrettable choice.

huffy We came here for the second time, but were disappointed because the food quality had been deteriorating or not worth the price. For example, the oyster pot, we had only 4 pcs of oysters (1 was large and the other 3 were of average size) which cost us $200. Too expensive to afford. We went there because of the food commentaries from Open Rice and magazine's recommendations of its Michele's rating. One of my friend recommend me to try this restaurant. He said the taste is good. Unfortunately, I have different experience! I ordered 豉油王鵝腸, 蒜子莧菜, 鹵水乳鴿 and feel dishes. 豉油王鵝腸 - The taste too light. 新斗記 is at the heart of Jordon. The speciality of the restaurant was the suckling pig. It was quite eye-catching to see roast suckling pig cooked live by the chef next to the reception. despite gd or bad experiences, I simply just let it go but this china town style joint was unbelievable. Walk in @ 6pm on a Tuesday evening for a table of 3. Dad's b-day and had a dinner there few days ago. I think the best dish is the Roasted little pig. So crispy!! Service is not bad...But the dishes not even an average! We'd a Garlic Fish Head in the claypot...was burnt! damn... Other dishes seems like cooked by my ex...sorry girls!
