Had a craving for Indian rice again so went to Ebeneezer's for a curry. I chose the Palak Paneer.
Palak Paneer:
There was finely grounded chilies in it so it was quite spicy. In UK, this dish is called Saag Paneer (saag meaning spinach) but in Hong Kong it is called Palak Paneer. ★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★ Supplementary Information: ◎ⓢⓤⓟⓔⓡⓢⓤⓟⓔⓡⓖⓘⓡⓛ◎ⓢⓤⓟⓔⓡⓢⓤⓟⓔⓡⓖⓘⓡⓛ◎Price: $53 Service: OK Service charge: none Yummy factor: OK Napkins provided: Yes Portion sizes: reasonable English Menu: Yes ◎ⓢⓤⓟⓔⓡⓢⓤⓟⓔⓡⓖⓘⓡⓛ◎ⓢⓤⓟⓔⓡⓢⓤⓟⓔⓡⓖⓘⓡⓛ◎ Other Ratings: Taste 3 | Environment 3 | Service 3 | Hygiene 3 | Value for Money 3

I wouldn't say I would wanna eat this every day, or every week for that matter, but this is a nice change from my usual lunch choices. Kebab.. reminds me of my dads in the US and in Europe, Kebabs would be the cheapest option on the street and in places in Europe where everything closes early Kebab places are the only ones open. But in HK it seems quite rare hence the high price! Anyway plenty of options of kebabs, salads, fried rice. I had the pita and salad kebab. It tasted great but the dressing is way too creamy and over dressed so it was a bit much and drenching the salad. There weren't that much hummus which I was disappointed about... This place comes under 'award finalist' so I thought I give it a try. For true curry and kebab lovers ,you will be disappointed. The food as for taste is very very average.as for quantity, you get 4 pieces of meat in each curry and as for quality it is indian home style cooking and to top up this disappointing award finalist fast food joint they had the cheek to charge a 10% service charge. We had a lamb curry served with long grain rice,a chicken tikka makahni, again served with long grain rice,a mixed kebab, mango lassi and a can of pepsi $185 + 10% -$205. Once is more than enough at this place. Table Wait Time: 10 minute(s)

After visiting the science center with a group of friends, we decided to have our dinner here. I had no idea that there was a restaurant at that spot (right across of Kowloon Park), but luckily, one of my friend was quite familiar with the area and we got there pretty easily. Now on to the food, we ordered the Chicken Tikka Kebab, Donar (Lamb) Kebab, Fish Biryani with Salad, Roast Chicken with Chips, Supreme Pizza, and Greek Salad with Roast Lamb. Both kebabs were very delicious with the Donar Kebab (sorry, forgot to take picture) being the better choice. The Lamb kebab tasted better because the meat was much more juicy and it went very well with the whole dish. Nonetheless, good amount of meat in both kebabs and the sauce was very appetizing. The rice and the sauce of the Fish Briyani was very good and made me miss Indian foods, but the fish was nothing special due to the lack of flavor. As for the Supreme Pizza, just a simple thumb up. Like the Donar Kebab, the Greek Salad with Roast Lamb was surprisingly good and I enjoyed it very much, especially the cubes of cheese in there. As recommended by the waiter, the Roast Chicken with Chips was my favorite dish. The sauce, chicken and fries went very well together and the whole dish was gone in a few minutes. This one is a must-try. Finally, the environment is good for a fast food restaurant and the staffs here are quite friendly. However, if you don't speak English, it can be difficult for you to communicate with them.

I was feeling kebab yesterday while wandering in the street like a ghost.... Just then, I saw the sign of Ebeneezer's Kabab...hmmm.. all right, then, let's give it a shot! Not bad, not bad at all!! Lunch set (48HKD): Lamb Kebab + Grape Fruit Juice(Schweppes') Quite a bargain! The kebab was huge!!! a bit crispy outside; refreshing vegetables and onions; juicy lamb inside; the seasoning was also perfectly spicy, no more no less; the above all made this meal a wonderful deal... lol Spending per head: Approximately HKD50 Other Ratings: Taste 5 | Environment 4 | Service 4 | Hygiene 4 | Value for Money 5

I ordered a chicken kebab, and prawn byrini. The kebab was nicely done up and cut in half, not to difficult to eat without getting my hands all sauced up. The sauces in the kebab were a nice mixture and plentiful. The salad that came was the food was also drenched in salad sauce. The price and environment was reasonable. Momo (Non-member) | Went there with a girl-friend last night (July 6) at around 8:00p.m. I think it is a pretty uniuqe Deli style shop in Ashley Road (TST), we ordered 1. Chicken Biryani (fried rice) with Salad 2. Mix (lamb & chicken) kebab 3. 2 cans of soda Total spending was HKD$115 for two people, we were happy and satisfied. Good stuff!!!
