Admittedly $52 is quite expensive for a burger especially in a fast food chain where the seating is not intended for a long stay.
The Prawn burger I had recently was at Bowl burger which was also quite expensive, however it tasted really similar to the Prawn and sesame toasts that you get at Chinese restaurants overseas!! Anyway, the presentation of this one on the poster was really similar to the fish burger with a piece of lemon.
The bun was smothered with tartar sauce and lettuce slapped on. After adding the lemon it tasted really nice and I also added extra white vinegar on it too.

The roast beef delux was a simple burger that was simply delicious. It is wafer thin sliced roast beef topped with horse radish and mayonnaise sauce sandwiched between the burger. There were no other garnishings, the beef tasted gorgeous with the horseradish sauce. When you open the wrapping there is a big piece of Guerkin to put inside the burger or have separately. I had mine separately because I wanted to try the beef and the bun alone. The whole burger was light and healthy. The bun was nice and soft.

Fish Burger While this fish burger trumps Mc D’s by a mile, I think the combo is a bit overpriced. Still, it’s not my first time ordering it, so I guess the price hasn’t stopped me being a customer at this joint. However, I only come here when I feel like a fish burger, since I prefer the more tender beef patties at a certain Monster joint (and I also find that the latter does better fries!). I personally prefer sesame buns, but this plain one was at least nicely toasted. The fish fillet was somewhat small this time, leaving excess edges of bread (which I hated). The deep fried coating was also slightly too thick in some areas, but it was fresh and crispy, though admittedly quite oily. There was a generous amount of tartar sauce (perhaps a bit too generous!), and I didn’t make use of the lemon wedge provided. Lettuce was also generously given. It’s weird critiquing a burger after writing about lunch at Amber… (read it here: ) Other Ratings: Taste 3 | Environment 3 | Service 3 | Hygiene 3 | Value for Money 2

(Original blog post - http://www.razlan.net/2010/08/the-one-with-a-triple-o-deluxe/ Before your imagination starts to run wild, a Triple O is not, you know, the sexual advantage a woman has over a man. If you really want to me to explicit… to quote Ross on how a woman triumphs over a man: “Multiple orgasms!” Alright, my point is, Triple O is nothing of the sexual connation sort. But rather, it is a little known burger chain located all over Hong Kong.
Most of us would be more familiar with chains like McDonald’s and Burger King. How do you find them? Out of the lack of choices, and considering only McDonald’s do any kind of delivery, I have put up with the somewhat bland and dry taste that all their burgers seem to suffer. And did you hear about the plan where McDonald’s teamed up with Weight Watcher taunting that their meals are actually healthy? It gotta be one of the most ludicrous claims I have came across in the past year.
Now back to the Triple O at Pacific Place Mall my friends and I visited before watching the movie Step Up 3D. The Roast Beef Deluxe meal I order came with a somewhat gigantic burger laden with cholestrol – but hey what did you expect? The beef was freshly made, I am sure, laden with cheese and the usual condiment, and a piece of pickle right on top in case you are not a fan of vinegar-soaked preserved vegetables. It was a messy dining experience but finger licking good to the last bite. My friends had the fish burger, which was equally delicious, but I might recommend you to give the chicken burger a pass, which was supposed bland and a little dry on the side.
The whole set meal, with some fries (thick, golden brown, but I was undecided on the sauce) and a drink cost some HK$89 dollars. Not exactly your run-of-the-mill fast food prices, but at that quality I do think it is worth the price. But like all fast food, never never make it a habit. Once in a while indulgence is fine. Recommended if you are in a shopping mall where dining options are too common for your taste. Triple O will do you just fine. Recommended Dish(es):

We bought one BC burger combo and one fish bun. They look delicious on the outside and the contents look good too. However , we are Chinese who expect steamy hot beef and hot fish not lukewarm ones or cold dish. The sauce is good though. Besides, the french fires are just so so. The cashier is not polite but the waiteress is very friendly. Overall, I may not dare to visit it for a long long time with that price level. Table Wait Time: 0 minute(s)

Came here to try their new fish burger, initially I did'nt want to try it, because on the picture the batter looks rather thick. Initially thought it was slightly over priced for $42 for a single burger, however comparing it to the others at Triple O's, they all cost around $4x for just a burger alone. The burger was presented as shown, with a lemon wedge on top. I wasnt impressed unwrapping it, there was tartar sauce on the wrapping so I got tartar sauce all over my fingers. The burger looked rather big and daunting, anyway, I squeezed the lemon onto the fish. Then started eating it, tasted really nice, surrounded with tartar sauce, the batter was slightly overcooked, and the edges were rather too hard. Luckily not too greasy and sickening. Chunky juicy firm Cod fish, and didnt taste like frozen stuff. Other Ratings: Taste 4 | Environment 4 | Service 4 | Hygiene 4 | Value for Money 4

have been going to this place to hv dinner for a few times, personally i like the fish burger most, i've tried the chicken burger once, but i think the meat is quite dry and it's not so tasty, i'd rather only ate the bread, so i've gave up to eat the meat.... Burgers - plenty big and reasonably tastly - I usually get the BC with cheese. I like my lettuce and tomatoes in with the patty and bun, but for some reason they serve it on the side. I think they have changed this practice recently so now the veggies are all in. I wished the buns were more solid as they tended to break, which is not a good thing as the patty falls out. They also give you a pickle on the side. Nice and crunchy. Fries are the fat kind. Not too bad. The gravy is the best feature which I always order. Milkshakes are quite good too. One final note - the tissue that they give are the real thick kind which comes in handy with finger foods. I wished all fast food outlets gave these kinds of tissues. Those flimsy ones are next to useless. Spending per head: Approximately HKD75 Other Ratings: Taste 4 | Environment 4 | Service 4 | Hygiene 4 | Value for Money 4

Went out to Triple O's in Pacific Place with a colleague who also wanted to have some fresh and tasty burger for lunch. When we got to the place, we were greeted by the crowds in there and everyone seemed like anxious in spotting a table. We decided to make a take-out order instead. Just saw an ad along the cashier about their latest OOO Fish Burger, asking for 68 bucks for a set meal, not necessary a cheap eat but we decided to go for it. The thick piece of fried fish with lots of tar-tar sauce is being sandwiched by two hamburger buns. For sure it is a lot bigger than the Fish Burger at macdoanld's but I really don't think this Triple O's burger worth three times more than the fish burger meal of Macdonald's. At the end of the day, both me and my colleague made frequent visits to the bathroom. I guess we weren't used to the oily burger at all. And frankly, i really think Vancouver's Triple O's (or White Spot as they call it there) serve better burgers and charge more reasonably than their counterparts in HK. Recommended Dish(es):

Mr. AK (Non-member) | Saw the ad of the fish burger and wanna try it long time ago, and finally have chance last weekend. Bought it with onion rings, at the price of $69, which is quite expensive indeed, so the expectation for the taste would be much higher than other cheap fast food restaurants, but then turn disappointment. The onion rings were tasteless. I was expecting some taste of onion, either sweetness (after the magic of cooking) or a bit hot (not thoroughly cooked), but the only taste it got is "flour" and "oil". The only good thing was crunchy. The fish burger was quite attractive on first sight, with a fish shape fillet instead of a square shape thing called "fish fillet" in those M-restaurants. However, it got no taste. Tartar sauce was minimum either. Eating it was just like eating a bread with some soft flour cake with lemon taste. Where is the "fresh", "tasty", and "juicy" that the ads said gone? Give me back my penny! had their chicken supreme burger when they first opened back in 2004, from what i remember it was juicy, messy and satisfying. came back for the first time in 5 years. i ordered the chicken burger again, with sauteed mushrooms and onions: the chicken breast is roughly 5 oz, it tender but not really juicy. can tell it was very minimally marinated by itself because i ordered it without mayo. didn't like my burger much; found the chicken lean and quite dry. maybe it's the absence of mayo that spoiled the whole thing, because when i had a bite of my dad's original burger, it was all very nice. original burger (that i had 1/4 of): think they use relatively lean chuck beef for their patties. definitely preferred this over the chicken burger. it was served with a thin slice of pickle buns are soft and taste great with the sauce. I'm glad they are not sesame-topped; the only time i ate at shake em buns i was served a sesame bun adn when i asked for a sesame-free bun; i was told that they only have sesame topped buns. what if your customers were allergic to sesame?! potato wedges are crisp on the outside and quite smooth on the inside - think they used higher qualiity potatoes with a lower starch content (thus the creamier texture as opposed to grainy textures in big, unrefined jacket potatoes) mmmm! will try come again but never again will i make the same mistake of holding the mayo.

JoAnne (Non-member) | I love burgers, but being a health freak, I dare not to eat burgers too often. Last night after dinner I went to Triple O to try their chocolate milkshake (my sis said it's really good). This morning I wondered how much fat I took in from the milkshake & I found this - http://www.whitespot.com/tripleos/pdf/Triple%20O's%20Nutritional%20Final.pdf 33g of fat. A normal cheeseburger has 53g fat Well I will eventually try that mushroom burger, maybe share w/ someone to cut half the fat Recommended Dish(es):

Just went to the Triple O last Friday after reading the comments here. However, just a bit disappointed with the burger they provided. I ordered BC burger and mushroom burger for my family. The burgers were big and with lots of side food inside. They were just a bit warm rather than hot. The burger was full of saurce rather than the beef was NOT juicy(dry like McDonald). The main course "beef" was not good enough(no beef smell and taste). Just the burger there was just so so... Indeed, I went also to "Freshness burger" just a week ago. And found that the burger there was very good. The burger was real hot when you got it and you couldn't hold it at all. Also, you can smell the beef smell when you open the package and the beef is juicy(probably because there are onion inside the beef). Price is only $26 for one burger(it is smaller).
