Looking for a new place for brunch in Soho on the weekend? Dont bother with Up.
The reasons:
- Average food - I ordered the Eggs Neptune and my gf had the omelette
- Appalling service - the 5 Aussies who were already seated before we arrived, gave up waiting up after 25-30 mins waiting for their food. Customers who turned up after us managed to get their meals before them and us. My girlfriend's food (which arrived luke-warm) had to be re-heated as she ended up waiting over 15 minutes for mine to arrive. Mine was medium-hot but by that time I was too hungry to do anything about it
- Unjustiable cost for the above
Finally: after making my feelings clear to the floor manager about the experience (after he had finished delivering one their breakfasts to another restaurant), he merely shrugged. He spoke decent English earlier to us as well.
Truly woeful experience.
