Watami Japanese Casual Restaurant     居食屋「和民」  

This isn't the first time I hear myself complaining about Watami at Pioneer Center, Prince Edward.

Everytime I decide to forgive them and see if they have improved (total around 3 times now..)
BUT this time just put the icing on the cake. WHAT a horrible place.

Firstly, service is extremely bad. The waitress yelled at me when I asked her to come over. Then, our food didn't come at the same time, the time difference was around 15 minutes wait period in between.

Secondly, they didn't give us spoons. Guess what, when the spoons did come, there was RICE STUCK TO THE BOTTOM OF IT, YES .. like real rice, which hardened. Obviously, their hygiene is RUBBISH. Check out my picture, and you will see how disgusting it is. I wonder if they even use soap or dishwashing detergent. I guess not.

Anyway, not recommended at all. Don't go there. Seriously.

So 4 of my friends ordered a 4 person set, and the set comes with 4 drinks with 2 choices. Those drinks cost 29$ on the menu, but I want to change it to a 12$ lemon tea, which I couldn't... well, won't be going to that restaurant ever again lol!

I had dinner with my friends there a month ago. The experience is really really bad. I mean in terms of both taste and service.
Compared with the same items that i had in Shatin shop, this mongkok shop gets lots of things to be improved.
Regarding the service, maybe it's a newly open shop, the staff training is not very enough. When we asked the waiter to give us several cups of tea, they only responded to us till our 3rd request (after 15 minutes later)!

food in general is ok, but their service very good, feel very warm and i like it.
