After a dinner costing over $1000, it was concluded that this is more of a place to enjoy a variety of beers than to dine.

The lamb stew was more salty than bland. The vegetables soggy, the lamb meat surprisingly flavourless huffy

. The pretzel served with the stew (thankfully unsalted) had more flavour! sad

The sausage selection was slightly better with several of the sausages having a solid robust taste.
The pizza (chicken) was likely the best of the lot. However, this being the case, it was not a particularly noteworthy pizza by local standards. Or even by international standards. More like a very good pizza in comparison to the other dishes (which were disappointing). This was a thin-crust pizza, with the crust carrying most of the flavour.

german cheesecake

The German cheesecake tasted much better than the entrees --although I thought it curious that the base was more like a cake, with a semi-soft baked) cheesecake as topping. The New York cheesecake was really dense by comparison (and tasty (sorry: ate most before taking shot).

Supplementary Information:

This place apparently offers sampler sets (of beer). Only two ciders available (Green Goblin, Magners). Had to stop the bartender from pouring the cider I ordered over ice (really strange practice here!). All said and done, I thought the service was good. The desserts were good. The cider was good. But the entrees were, for the price charged, simply substandard. Unfortunately I assessed a 'cry' rating as this is not a site for BEvERage assessment - but rather food; and man cannot live on cheesecake alone.

Having a TV behind the urinal was a first for me; rather quaint being able to piss on personalities. So, feel bonus merited for environment.
