I agree with Cando.
The cake is not bad, but not great either. It's absolutely not a "cheesecake" in any sense of the word. It's a mousse cake with much gelatine put in. And if you're afraid that it's gonna melt, don't worry. It has so much gelatine that it'll hold its shape very well even at room temperature.
The pros: Strong matchs green tea taste, moist cake (though not very fine in texture)
The cons: Very few red beans so that the balance is way off, you just can't taste the red beans. Mousse too stiff. Lack of the creaminess and the rich taste of cheesecake.
All in all, it's okay to give it a try at $88 (with groupon). But I wouldn't bother if I have to pay the full price ($168). The quality of this cake is somewhat similar to Arome 東海堂, yet without the convenient store network.
