went for a HH drink but ended up staying for dinner. My friend and I shared a chimichanga and tangerine salad. They were both delicous! The chimichanga was nice and crispy on the outside and the filling was nice and hot. The salad was a new one on their menu. I would never have made salad with tangerine but the whole combination blended very nicely. I wanted to eat it again the next evening! Portions were big, drinks were cheap and the atmosphere was great. I'll be heading back soon. Recommended Dish(es):

No one seems to notice our existance, order & requests... okay, i don't mind being ignored.. but this kind of service is totally not acceptable... food is above average though (on a bar-standard): 1. caesar salad w/ smoked salmon --- fresh lettuce & balanced sause. I almost finished the entire dish (a big one..) on my own 2. pizza --- can't recall the name.. but it's very cripsy.. the best pizza I've tasted in recent years 3. mojito --- more lime juice please Recommended Dish(es):

Passenger 123 (Non-member) | First of all, never judge a book by its cover!!! But the funny thing is that, when finally we had our drinks, what is he (one of the staff) standing there looking at us for???? when we want attention, no one cares, then when we just want to drink n chat, someone just stand there and stare at us?? What kinda timing is that??? What so interesting about 3 guys having a chat?? That just weird. Went to this place on Friday evening before heading for bowling. There were 5 of us. Overall the food was average, ordered Pizza, Spaghetti, lasagna and some kind of rolls. Service is poor, we asked BUN BUN several times for forks, knives and plates. They gave us 4 knifes instead of 5 and said they don't have enough plates to share the food. (This was 8pm!!!!). Only came cos of the convenience and atmosphere. Recommended Dish(es):

So, a Friday night out, you want to start by going to the bars. Come to Inside out, thinking later goto LKF or down for Karaoke. Logical Friday night. The place is so PACKED! and my friend had a F-U-L-L glass of BEER in the middle of the table. I had a frozen mango daiquiri because its so hot! The daiquiri was decent tho. Waitress fumbling through with dishes, pushed the entire table, SPILLED E-N-T-I-R-E BEER, soaking both my friend and I. **I just got off work, IN A SUIT, waiting to go clubbing, soaked in BEER.** What a nightmare! I was infuriated but busy cleaning up. Waitress came by and said, "We won't charge you for the beer." HEY! Then she said , "ok fine, I give you free beer". My other friend called for the manager, I was just thinking "Take that spilled beer off my tab and we are gone!" and the manager came over and my friend requested that our drinks be off the tab (3 of us had 2 drinks each, two soaked people). I am thinking, that's a western request which normally managers would offer without us having to ask, but would a place in CWB do the same? I had doubts... Manager: "So whats happening here? I give you free beer! What do you want??" Friend: "Hey your staff spilled beer all over my friends, u should take their drinks off." Manager "20%! That's the best I can do! What are you talking about soaked? huh? Let me see! You are talking but I don't hear your friends saying nothing! Are you soaked, really?" He said mockingly. OMFG! What was the guy expecting? 10 tables around us saw the whole thing and I am wiping myself with Tempo, and did he expect to feel me up so that he can ensure sufficient beer was spilled to merit an apology? This guy never apologized to us, all he did was YELL and MOCK us. This, in CWB. is CWB becoming the MK of Hong Kong Island?? I just wanted to get out of there, soaked, pissed, and an EARLY END to a Friday night. Is a cheap beer worth your time in this place? This is a bar/restaurant, not just a restaurant that serves food. SERVICE is a main part of the experience as is the Alcohol. Well, I got SERVED. i used to come here once a week, especially on a saturday afternoon. sitting out, enjoying abit of sunshine, a pint of stella, washing birds come and go (and for the peanuts)... but now it's all changed. service is not as good as it used to be. no more chit chatting with waitor/resses (mostly new faces now). waited for ages for ordering... peanuts are so skinny... ?getting cheaper peanuts now? such a shame that i lost a place to relax with a pint with an outdoor environment. This is a franchise bar, but this location is probably one of the best open bar in HK. I've never been here during day time, so I don't know if they invade the ground space of the opposite building like the night time. We could sit here for hours, it's that comfortable. But the indoor is not on par with the outdoor atmosphere. Upon reading all of the comments, I think majority of the blogger missed the beer part. This place, my friend, is THE place for beer. No, I'm not talking the level of Heineken, Carlsberg, or San Miguel. No, not Guiness, either. This place has the authentic Belgian beer. It's difficult to discribe in words, but once you tasted the Belgian, you will never go back. A few of these Belgian can be purchase at some high end supermarkets (I don't know if I can say the name here), but with the atmosphere, it's worth paying double of the supermarket prices. Some of the name are Chimay (blue or red label), Pawel Kwak, and Leffe. I don't know how adventurous the readers are, but it's definitely worth one round. (These beer are 9% alcohol.) The food is good, in particular, the burgers are on par with the ones I've tasted in America. I've tried the Nachos and to me, this is probably the best Nachos I've tried in Hong Kong. The dark side is just the food are too greasy: good for satisfying my evil side, but not healthy. To me, the service was adequate, I think most complains were due to language barrier. Tables were cleared quickly, and drinks were deliverying swiftly. Overall, with the level of the food, the menu of the beer, I will put up with any bad services any given evening. NatC (Non-member) | I do agree with "SOMEONE". The service is really bad. I didn't physically experience it but on the phone. This is the story: I tried to order from them and would like to pick the orders up by sb. One of the waiter picked up the phone and he told me he has to ask if his supervisor (is the supervisor the god?) allows to do such an order; then I asked if he can put his supervisor on the phone but he said he went to the bank and will be back in 10mins. I called back after 10mins, the so-called supervisor picked up the phone without a "Hello" or "Good Morning" and I tried to explain to him what I would like to do and order. He just said we are now very busy and will not take order. I was so considerate, I told him that he can take the order first and do whenever the kitchen is ready coz I would need it 1.5 hour later. I was not rushing them and he raised his voice and keep saying no. Well... "No" is not a magic word and there was 0% of customer service. Conclusion: He will never get business from me anymore that perhaps means including the people around me. Keep that attitude and will see the power of WOM (word of mouth). We will see... SOMEONE (Non-member) | Last night i went there with 7 of my friends and had to wait for table for over 20mins, but this is not the main problem, after they set up one 2ft x 2ft table for 8 of us, then we asked for another extra table coz were ordering food so for sure we won't have enough space for it, those long faced waitress told us they had to ask their supervisor whather we can have it or not and depends on what we order. then the foods and drinks came they still didnt want to give us extra table even i saw they had a stack of table sitting on the side with no body using them. One of the southasian wait told us we can go somewhere else if we dont like their arrangment after i complained again. No matter how well there food are their service stopped me to go their again since I am wondering they only love to serve western customers rather than asian customer as i swa the same problem happened next to us! One small table for more than 6 asian customer! Spending per head: Approximately HKD105
