I visited this restaurant some time ago and revisited it last Saturday. I revisited it because I found the food was not too bad but this time I was very disappointed.
We orderd two sets of breakfast and an additional bowl of macaroni with mince in tomato soup and oats in milk. Mine set was eggs and a fillet, and the other one was eggs with a ham and a chicken sausage. One of my sun-up-side eggs was broken. The taste of the fillet was acceptable, not too fishy. The macaroni and oats were so so. They were not anything special. I didn't expect taste of normal breakfast to be too terrrible or exceptionall delicious at quite a reasonable prices.
The problem was not about the food or the environment, but the poor service attitude. I agreed with what salsal0608 has written and could fully understand their feelings. My mum asked the waiting staff to give her some more napkin for my baby nephew but the lady boss, who seems to be, told her 'we've already given you one'. She initially refused then said later. That 'later' means she forgot and didn't give her until we asked all waiting staff and the last one gave us one 'spoon' by mistake. In Chinese, 'napkin' and 'spoon' may sound similar but I don't think the waiting staff paid attention to what we really wanted.
I requested some glasses of water as we had three people. However, the waiting staff gave me one only despite the fact that I told him I wanted 'some glasses of water'. I asked another staff again for another glass.
The lady boss put my dish near the edge of the table without saying anything then went away, though I couldn't expect much. However, usually the waiting staff will confirm your order and tell you what it is delivered.
In fact the food and the decoration were not bad, and it looked a high class restaurant. However, unfortunately it provided terribly poor services. If the staff and the boss don't want to serve, they should close the restaurant and stay at home.
