Fusion Style Just OK Feb 04, 2013
Share with MessengerShare on TwitterShare on Facebook
Fusion food is either a great success or everything gone wrong. This time's fusion experience could be categorized slightly in between. The bowlBaked Tofu Pudding Puffbowl looked great. Presentation was excellent! The puff alone had a thin crust and a moist "body"; quite nice. Everything was looking good until the tasting. sad Chocolate and tofu create a strange combination, which to tell the truth I did not enjoy. The water from the hot tofu mixed with chocolate sauce was just... not a match. Floury soy and diluted chocolate flavours did not convince my tastebuds. I think they would have preferred a standard Puff Pastry Soup instead. The dessert, personally, would have been much better with only chocolate sauce on top of the puff and no chocolate at all with the tofu. Soy + cocoa in this case: I would say, without hesitation, a big "NO".
Other than this incompatible mix, big thumbs up for the creative invention! lol The baked tofu puff was original, but still remains strange. Next time, I will stick to regular stuff: either Chinese only or Western only.

i have already been to 甜蜜蜜for so many times and 心太軟is definitely the MUST order item!!
the warm chocolate lava is no doubt a perfect couple with the cold vanilia ice-cream....
if u like dessert, esp. chocolate.....im sure that this thing can satisfy your sweet-tooth

but dun expect the staff there are polite or patient to you....
since there are always long queue at night, they would clean up ur dish immediately as soon as you finish the food and get you out of their place...><

Very Impressed!  Smile Jun 30, 2010

Very impressive array of desserts indeed!

Their signature mango spring roll (mango wrapped in pastry) is unique, creative, inspired and absolutely yummy...and the classic Molten Chocolate Cake (Chocolate Lava Cake) is exceptionally delicious. Very rich and chocolatey.

Durian lovers should try their durian dessert platter too...love the durian napoleon, durian pancake and durian on top of jellies in coconut milk.

I know where I should go for desserts from now on smile

    happy x'mas - dessert Cries Dec 21, 2009
Share with MessengerShare on TwitterShare on Facebook
my first time of visiting this little shop.

heard that it's famous, and lots of artistes come to this shop.

    i ordered "是日糖水": 芝麻糊+湯圓

it lacked sesame aroma, and was with a very rubbery texture... i would say it looked like 鼻涕... not very black in color, may be too much rice / too less sesame seeds.
the 湯圓 were very soft, not chewy enough.

perhaps i made the wrong order of sth traditional in a shop that's famous for its "fusion" dessert. yet i wonder if it is not that into the traditional chinese desserts, why offers it?

Tonight I went there with two friends. Waited for about 15 minutes, that's fine. The table next to us were noisy and that made us feel very uncomfortable. After our order, we waited for another 10 minutes for our dessert....

The one that I had (see photo) was very disappointing. sad I could taste the taste of DURIAN huffy(YES!!!) at my white chocolate ice-cream... Most probably it is due to either 1) the chef used the same spoon that used for the Durian mix to get the ice-cream or 2) some other tables were having some DURIAN favour desserts and the smell was so strong that I can smell and then taste it.

I don't understand why the shop brings in "DURIAN" products... in view of its small size...it cannot bear the luxury of having the "DURIAN zone" like the X 記 in Sai Kung. If you place everything in one small shop like this, you took the risk of getting rid of all those customers that hate DURIAN, just like me. mad

I will never, never visit this shop again. Before tonight, I had supported this shop for more than 10 years - however, tonight, it was really very disappointing and that made me next time will go to 798 (opposite) instead. At least the seats are more comfortable and the service, even the customers would be nicer. tongue
