This restaurant only serves spaghetti, which is fine for us because we are pasta lovers
1. Daily soup, tomato soup - it comes with a pc of dry toast. Indeed, dry toast is very common in Italy. Most hotels provide dry toast at breakfast. Quickly take a bite... very crispy but taste bland
2. Spaghetti with prawn, cherry tomato and chili - I can't eat spicy. So ask to take out the chili. The waitress says no problem. When it comes, I see the dish is sprinkled with chili. I am a bit worried. So my husband asks the lady if it is the "not spicy" version. The lady replies with a friendly smile that the amount of chilli powder is very small and it is for decoration only. Got it. Although it smells very good, the spaghetti is a bit too soft for us. We like it more al dente. Prawn is just average. I enjoy the cherry tomatoes the most. In fact, I'm attracted to this dish because of the cherry tomatoes
3. Carbonara - same problem with the Spaghetti, over cooked. Sauce is ok. But nice presentation.
4. Desert - today's special is mango ice-cream. It is homemade. but I like it more creamy. Hope they can improve in the future.
Overall, nice dinner. nice place. it 's small but cozy. Just that it is a bit too loud from the outside (big street and food market around).
We are satisfied with our first meal here
