My Choice this time:Banana Split: (9) Arlette: I guess is home baked. Really nice and cripsy.
Passion fruit banana compote: Creatly balanced for the sweetness and fruit acidity.
Fruit Salad: This is really design by a " pro" chef as this Fruit Salad at the bottom just create a
great finale for having this "Smile Banana Split" with a touch of freshness at the end.


Dear Food lover fellows: Is a "Value for Money" place. Is always my hotspot.

Me and my family passed by this shop months ago when finished dinner at a Thai Restaurant. As we were already very full, we could just walked around the shop and didn't try them out. Surprisingly, I have never heard of this place. But I think this shop shold be quite famous as we could see it's crowded of people.

Here comes the chance again. Me and my family went to the Thai Restaurant again. But this time, we did save some room of our stomach for this lovely yogurt.

We spent sometimes to locate this shop and thanks to Openrice again. We finally found the shop and luckily as it was still early (20:00) not much people inside. We can enjoy our Yogurt with peace. We've ordered two for 4 persons.

Chocolate Lover: $59
Full of nice 'decorations' : Chocolate explosive stick / mini brownies / Crunchy pearl / Mini oreo / chocolate curl / Mochi x 1 / Crumbs + plain Frozen Yogurt. Excellent to those greedy person like me. Personally, I like the oreo and the mini brownies. Frozen Yogurt is smooth. Surprisingly, the whole chocolate lover is not too sweet and easy to finish it all.

Vanilla Sky: $49
This one with less ' decorations'. But still looks very very nice~ It consist of : Almond flake / Vanilla sauce / Mango cubes / Blueberry / crumbs + Frozen Yogurt. We were thinking of either choosing Mango or Vanilla Sky. We finally decided to choose vanilla sky as we see the vanilla sauce seems very tasty. And we found Mango inside by surprise.
Excellent. I like the almond flake very much! Very crispy and tasty. The vanilla sauce is tasty and smooth too, and made the frozen yogurt more tasty. My family prefer Vanilla Sky to chocolate lover without hestiation.

Seating area:
No more seats is available upstairs. I can see only bar tables. We are sitting on bar chairs. Less comfortable to stay, eat and chat with friends. Maybe, they just don't want you to stay for too long! (Guess only, no offence). I think not quite enjoyable during crowds of people. Luckily, we went there at non-peak hours.

Environment:
Love the decorations. And also the picture hanging on the wall showing yogurts with all the ingredient listed. So, you know well what you are going to order. (But we only saw this after we finished the yogurt )

At last, I picked up a nice name card of the shop, with cartoon yogurt printed on it. When I took the name card out and have a look at home, only to find that there are 3 shops in HK Oh! One is Hysan Place 5/F, so near to my workplace What a good news! I can have it whenever I want! No need to travel to Kowloon City in order to have it!

There are so many places selling Froyo these days that competition is fierce.

I was attracted to this place because their froyo was artistic.
Instead of plain froyo with toppings, they looked like artisan sundaes with attractive names.

Some of the toppings were interesting such as the vanilla crisp, which were thinly baked vanila biscuit/cookies shaped into long curls.They also had these pretty biscuit sticks similar to the Japanese coated biscuit sticks.
One of the toppings was weird, it was called "fruit salad" but at least they used greek yogurt instead of Heinz salad cream.I wanted to try the froyo, so I just got plain froyo with green tea mochi.
The mochi was very different to the other places, it was thin pieces of powdered mochi squares!As for the froyo, it was boring but too sweet.The decoration of this place was quite modern and upscale.◎ⓢⓤⓟⓔⓡⓢⓤⓟⓔⓡⓖⓘⓡⓛ◎ⓢⓤⓟⓔⓡⓢⓤⓟⓔⓡⓖⓘⓡⓛ◎

Just came back from this yogurt place. I always see a line up in this yogurt place so never want to go in. But this afternoon, it's a bit quiet, so gotta chance to try the yogurt. I ordered Banana Split because I'm a banana lover. The yogurt is quite fresh but too sweet. Not so healthy. I expect a lot better due to the previous happy face reviews. However, I'm quite disappointed with the product.

First, they just put a little amount of crumbs in between the yogurt which feels like I'm having a plain yogurt that I can buy in the supermarket. Also, the crumbs are not as good as the other yogurt shop I've eaten. Next, the whole thing is too sweet. Too much chocolate and sweet sweet banana. I feel like I'm having a whole cup of sugar for paying the price of $45. Last but not least, the price is too high for such quality and there were no more seat, so I have to stand there at the bar table. For paying $45, I expect a lot more than that. The renovation is nice but not the environment.

This is my first time eating Frozen Yogurt in Smile. Honestly, it looked really good but it doesn't taste as well.
The yogurt is not sour enough, and the taste isn't really outstanding among the other frozen yogurt shops.
I tried Banana Split and Chocolate Lover, and I personally think that Chocolate Lover taste better.

Although the matching of the toppings were quite fascinating, the cost was abit too high.
Well, in conclusion, I wouldn't come again and try next time.
Yo mama is comparatively more simple and more like traditional frozen yogurt.

Yesterday I had a sort of afternoon tea at a dessert bar, called Smile. And it was yummy! For many the decision on a restaurants quality depends on this simple question: “Would you go back?” This time I can certainly reply in the positive: yes, I would go back.

They serve frozen yoghurt (among other things), and it is not your regular everyday froyo shop you see around Hong Kong. The best way to describe it is as a gourmet yoghurt. It has such interesting flavors, such as a clear lychee sauce with “gwei fa” jello.....

deco is chic, quite a lot of customers inside.

as we're full from the dinner, we ordered one to share: chocolate.

it's out of my expectation i had to say; yummy~ the yogurt was smooth and had a stiff texture, the right level of sour. good standard, fresh taste.

yes it's a bit expensive, but i'd rather pay a few more bucks for quality. wanna try the banana split.

at least i enjoyed it much more than the one i bought at apm a few days ago, which was watery and not smooth.

I was drawn into the shop because of the simple decor and the word "yoghurt and dessert" outside. As a huge fan of frozen yogurt, I just had to go in.

Apparently it's a newly opened dessert shop targeting young mid-class customers who like to try new things. I've tried numerous yogurt places and this is the first one that had three creative yogurt combinations (though a bit pricey at $45). After a generous portion of yogurt sample, I decided to try the plain yogurt with one topping.

Again, the choice of toppings was dazzling. Aside from your regular fruit selection, they have some rare toppings too (like sweet tea olive jelly, yogurt fruit salad). The presentation was really nice too. I saw raspberry pretzs standing up in a bar of sugar!I didn't take out my camera because I wasn't planning on making this review. But after the cup of yogurt, I decided that I wanted this little shop to stay longer by making more people know about it. My yogurt topping was the fruit salad in yogurt sauce. The topping itself was very fresh and delicious. Combined with the slightly tarty and firm plain yogurt, every bite was a refreshing experience. The yogurt itself is not as creamy as that of Cr_mbs or H0lly C0w, yet not as melty and icy as Tutt! Melon and H0ly C0w. I'd say Smile's was better than Y0go or Y0MaMa because you can actually taste the yogurt in it.

Well, I personally dislike frozen yogurt that don't live up its name. Come on, it's yogurt, not ice cream. If you are too creamy you probably have added too much cream in it.

As far as I know, Smile only offered the plain yogurt flavor. But it's perfectly fine with me because I always go for the plain flavor.

Overall, it's a must-go for yogurt fans. It will be so much better had the price been a bit friendlier to the slim pockets.
