Menu 嚴重誤導 Cries Mar 15, 2011
Share with MessengerShare on TwitterShare on Facebook

5 of us went to Kushi One for dinner last month and we ordered the dinner set where it said its UNLIMITED refill, we were served 1 plate of platter and other starter, and I felt like there is a misleading in the menu as the RED UNLIMITED word was right in the middle of the page and it looks like everything below that UNLIMITED heading were to be refilled.

but ended up only 2 food were unlimited.huffy

The food was average, nothing special. we didn't even ended getting the dessert served.

I really can't imagine how can the original price be $ 580 per person.
嚴重誤導: 原來 unlimited 只限於花之戀 and 鵝肝 !!!

Once again i went Kushi One with several friends 年初一食開年飯chopstick! We ordered a seafood platter $380, an assorted meat platter$320, some Wagu beef cube $220, skewers, plus some japanese congee and some dessert too! The food quality was just like last several time, tasty and very freah, especially the seafood! Desserts are not expensive $40 (Consider directly from Japan's shebert), we have 6 people, all enjoyed a nice and full dinner, cost about $1400, only about $240 each!!!!lol

This was the 4th time i went and their quality and service is good and consistent, I recommend this restaurant that won't disappointed you! I wish they can offer buffet in TST too!!!!madmad

NOT my type of dish Cries Jan 29, 2011

We wanted to get some sushi and just have a nice family dinner.
However I was immensely disappointed at their food quality, taste, price AND service.
They did not speak english at all which was a complete downfall considering the fact that HK is a bilingual city.
Also their food was over priced. nearly $300 for 2 pieces of salmon sushi, 2 pieces of duck liver, 2 little cubes of steak, 2 pieces of bacon, 1 shrimp, 1 scallop... we werent even half way full.
I get that their concept was a new way of grilling but it really wasn't that special neither were their restaurant very chic or high quality to be justifying their food.
    Extremely disappointing.
They did not even provide wasabi until we asked for it and received 5 minutes later.
    It was a complete joke.
I would never go back there ever again neither recommend it.

紙上燒 is the selling point in 神串一
it looks very special, but it is not taht attratcive after u tried it

it is just the same as other "BBQ"
the set with 銀雪魚, 美國牛, 澳洲和牛, 大蝦 is not enough for 2 person
the portion of 美國牛 and 澳洲和牛 is really small
But the fish and shrimp are fresh

    the service is ok
but there is room of improvement concerning the service and hygeine

    得意紙上燒! Smile Aug 27, 2010

Wow.. a lot of new restaurants open in TST these days... It's very busy for me to try every single restaurant.

I've chosen Kushi One to go with my colleague during lunch time. It locates on 5/F and there's like Ramen and other kind of japanese restaurants on the same floor. I thought this restaurant is a sushi restaurant at the beginning but actually the signature of this restaurant is the paper grill

Price set Lunch is very reasonable which a Pork cutlet rice is $58 while a sushi set is around $90. But we've ordered the Paper grill set this time as because it costs only $108 per person and you can have oyster (if you don't eat oyster, you can change to calm), 3 pcs of beef, vegetables and salmon. The set also come with a salad and a miso soup.

Why is so special? because the bbq is paper grill. They've put a few papers on the grill pan and you just put everything on the paper and wait until it cooked! Very funny... and it helps to decrease the oily feeling. However, it takes longer time to cook than the normal bbq. When the food is cook or in progess, just add some sea salt and soy sauce, very yummy!

Remember, the set doesn't include tea or coffee. Extra cost on ordering this item!

Tips: An interesting concept of paper grill ! Can try and become the topics when you talk to your friends. However, it still have some smell on your hair and outfits which I do not recommend you to go if you have meetings with your boss or clients after eating.
