COULD BE BETTER:
- Except that Yuen Long is a bit far away from everything ... nothing to say !

GOOD:
- Great staff, the owner and his wife are very friendly
- The place is quite small, but it makes you feel like home.
- Family style french cuisine, nice quantities, good quality, nice taste.

TO SUM UP:
Not easy to access, especially if you live on HK Island or Kowloon side, but definitely a place to go if you are having an escapade in the New territories.

Booking is necessary! Small place, not suitable if bring baby.Steak with fioe GRAS tastes good but about $250. Good at medium rare.Mushroom Soup with picture on top. Good!Coffee is great! There is only one kind called mint blanc coffee!It tastes creamy and smells good!U can add money to make set dinner when u order main dish! This will include soup and dessert. Must add recommended! Book an earlier table as they may have sold out ur favorite dessert!Since the portion is appropriate, don't eat too much bread or u will become too full to enjoy ur dessert.Same day booking usually fail since it us always fully booked but we have tried to arrive at around 7:30pm for walkin and by luck, we got the table. We are 2 persons only!

Picked the earlier slot - at 6:30pm on a Saturday. Booking needed because it is not a huge place.
Hi Chef and Owner (if you are reading)... yes we came all the way into Yuen Long to try your lovely restaurant. You nailed it!
Onion Soup - perfectly seasoned with cheese.
Belgian Mussels - the sauce is fantastic. Creamy with great texture. Great to be peppery. Much better than those restaurants that use organic mussels.
Steak / Steak in Pastry - very good meat. Cooked with care. Ox liver sauce is VERY EUROPEANLY good!!!!
法國千層薄餅 is very special. I have never had anything like this before in a French restaurant. I took the effort to un-layer-ed it. The inner sheets are like silky smooth.
Service scored 100. Very homely atmosphere.
Very walkable distance from Yuen Long MTR. So... all very do-able!

Always want to find a decent western restaurant in Yuen Long coz I'm a super salad fan, too bad there're only Hong Kong style "fruit salad" or "potato salad" to be found. At last, there's a place for me!

The small French restaurant is run by a real French chef, really kindda "rare" in a place like Yuen Long. I like the fresh mushroom soup so much (though I'm a Campbell soup maniac), light and tasty, excellent as an appertizer.

Then I tried the salad with duck breast, the dressing is exceptionally good, best match with the vegetables and meat.

The dinner was wrapped by their signature dessert "Mont Blanc Souffle" (not so sure the exact name, i guess it's something like this haha). While eating, the feeling was just like having ice-cream+marshmallow, texture is rich yet light, you won't feel guilty even you finish it all by yourself!

Next time, I'll try the baby mussels (one of my all time favourite) as they use the most expensive herbs Saffron for seasonings. Let's see if it can beat the La Pain Grille!

Have a chat with the chef's better half (she's a Chinese, very nice and helpful), and I would like to share her little tips: Do NOT add Ketchup or tasbasco or Maggi, feel the real taste of the food!
