Had the set dinner and was superbly impressed. The staff was very generous and friendly while the place was quite quiet.
We started with some fresh out of the oven bread; squid ink baguettes and poppy seed buns, both were nice and chewy.
Ordered the set dinner which was a surprisingly cheap HKD168 that included:
1) foie gras with red wine jelly and crispy toast
2) creamy pumpkin soup
3) Main: choice of Pork medallion or scallop salad
4) Dessert: Chocolate Almond pie
5) Coffee or Tea
I will single out the Pork medallion as being a wonderful dish. The whipped cream potato bed that the medallion sat on was only second to that of the whipped potato at Robuchon A Galera in Macau. Absolutely brilliant, could use a touch more butter.
There really weren't a lot of people around probably due to location in a side alley, but it is perfectly quaint for a nice quiet night out for dinner.
Hope you enjoy.
